Serbia does not need good relations with Turkey. It isn't an important place anymore and it continues to make problems for Serbia

If Serbia were a democracy with a European perspective they would have sent the Turkish ambassador packing when Turkey recognized Kosovo. Instead Serbia is making nice with Ankara while Cypriots and Serbs are homeless because of Turkish money and foreign policy. Meanwhile despite overwhelming evidence the Turkish government continues to deny the Armenian genocide and continues to distance itself for taking any responsibility.

Do we want reliable friends in Nicosia or do we want criminal friends in Ankara?

The Turks have always been great at sticking their hands in other people's pockets but great at cutting off the hands of anybody who tries sticking their hands in a Turkish pocket. The only self-determination the Turks wanna give 15 million Kurds is whether to be happy or extremely happy for the oppurtunity to become Turks.

I have to admit I found a few ironies in this article:

1. The Turkish chief of staff is of Albanian decent (the doubters can search Wikipedia)

2. Many Albanians living in Turkey today are from/descendants of Albanians kicked out of Nis and Sandzak by previous Serbian regimes. I wonder about the ethnicity of these "Serbian citizens" from Sandzak.

3. Last...and this is my favorite one...

Sutanovac said that
"...the Kosovo question is a problem that the two countries cannot solve currently, but that this does not mean that officials should not try to solve other problems for the good of the citizens of both."

Wouldn't things have been far better if this fellow had applied the same logic to Serbia's relations with Kosovo?

A few more of these "good signals" and Kosova is in the UN. I find it hilarious how a Serbia minister would be photographed virtually holding a Turkish flag.

That "problem" Serbia seems to have with almost all EU members and its neighbors.
