Inviibletheman. Glavas is important not only becuase he had Serbs tortured and murdered but also because he sowed the seeds of hate in Slavonia between Serbs and Croats BEFORE the real conflict began.

He is a very uncomfortable reminder to Croats that this war wasn't visited upon them by an external aggressor, rather some shady Croatian figures such as Glavas were tasked with alienating the Serbian population and driving them into the arms of various militias and so forth.

That doesn't excuse any war crimes, but it provides context to what happened afterward. This former yes man who is now 'in the wild' will not be forgotten.

Who cares about the destiny of Glavas. He is just a Croat like many others that escaped justice for more than a decade. Look into that when Europeans talk about Croatia being member of the EU? Who can call it Rule of Law and justice, that a conviction of an individual like Glavs lasted until 2009?????

How did this guy conveniently 'flee' after the conviction? Did the Croat authorities not know that he would be a flight risk especially since he gained Bosnian Citizenship last year. A place where they do not extradite citizens to other countries. I'm affraid it was a show trial by the Croat Authorities who turned the other way while he fleed to Mostar or some other Croat controlled area of Bosnia.

a simple coward.

several serbian detainees voluntarily travelled to the Hague.

this croatian "hero" even fled from his beloved "ljepa nasa"...

indeed, a coward.

Life is so unfair e Branimire?

Tell you what, come here and request a trial in Serbia and I'm sure the authorities will be happy to oblige.
