"Too soon for white Schengen speculation"

EU enlargement official Pierre Mirel says that all speculation about which country would enter the white Schengen list, and when, was "premature".

" that enforcement of the adopted laws had to be ensured."

This is probably a hint to usual EU anti-immigration hysteria (we know, what countries are the "leaders") they expect Serbia would join.

EU should not worry: given the "enforcement" in Hungary, that won't be any better in Serbia. Besides, with ever-decreasing population someone has to finance the retirement of today's workers.

These will be precisely the immigrants from Africa and Asia - if they are left in peace.

Dacic and other ministers ought to button it for a while.
Sadly Serbian politicians have a habit of insulting the Serbian people, thinking that we forget what they said last week.

But, the fact is that making the white list has nothing to do with the Kosovo issue. It doesn't matter how many times Albanians try to link this.

I mean come on it 'smells' a bit of self importance. Are EU countries more concerned with who comes through their borders or whether for example Serbia recognises kosovo or not?

We all know the answer to that.

Serbs, kiss the visas bye bye for a long time. As the French FM said: You cannot go against EU and then come and ask things from EU. You will have plenty more chances to revise your policies. You know where.

Do you still believe your politicians? They made the visas a done deal just a week ago.
