Don't be naive. In case you haven't noticed, the US itself has been reaffirming Dayton's validity.

The West with their economic meltdown is in no position to purposely start any war. Their people are in no mood for a fight and they won't tolerate a government that put foreign affairs ahead of domestic issues.

So you want a war? Not unless you can convince every single Western leader to quit office by the next elections!

Yes, Bosnia and Herzegovina will exist 10 years from now just as it has existed the past several hundred years. Hopefully by then it will be a functional multi-ethnic, multi-religious, tolerant, and democratic state that values all of its citizens regardless of their ethnicity and religion. It will also be a member of the EU and NATO by then along with the other countries in the Balkans.

I feel more inclined to call myself Yugoslavian rather than Bosnia. Bosnia is a ununified, dismantled, state held together by the wishes of other nations (i.e. the "west").

As much as I want their to be a unified Bosnia and more central powers in the constitution, I feel that it is wrong to make Dodik (a very srubborn but proud man)conform to the Bosniaks and West's wishes.

It's only morally and ethically just for the Dayton Agreements to stay for now. As older generations die off and are replaced with a younger bosnia, hopefully the country will fix itself. Until then...

Agim,

Dayton can only be changed if all three sides agree. Even NATO and EU can't change that!

Be realistic!

Or will the West break its own promises again? Like in Kosovo...

It is time the West will start to respect their own promises...

Another shameless showing of direct threats, by the US government through their embassy in Bosnia. Their main goal is cutting Russia branch by branch, untill the final defeat, and ultimatelly controlling the peoples mind and soul in general. A line has been drawn though long before we ever realized it.

"Does anyone here really think Bosnia is going to exist in 10 years?"

Yes, but on a different form.

--" How can the president of Bosnia be the "supreme commander" of Bosnia's armed forces when he can't even control half his territory?"

They will control it. If Bosniaks backed by Croatia and EU /NATO decide it, who will oppose them? Be realistic

The West gave Dayton to Bosnia. And now they want to change it. Hey, that's not they way things go!

All sides agreed on Dayton (no unitary state) so that's it!

It is up to the three sides to come up with new plans. But until that time Dayton is there!

The West alwasys tries to change the rules when such is advantagous for them.

For International Community read America and the West. They are in control of Bosnia.Dodik was elected by a majority of the Serb population. He is entitled to speak his mind.Let's get real. This non country is being kept alive by the Nato/EU life support machine.
The USA is the source of the greatest instability in the world today.
Who should a Serb trust? Inzko?Komsic? Mesic? Tadic? Only Dodik is saying how it is for the pressurized intimidated Serb Republic. It's been like this for years now.Good on you.Lets have the right to self determination as well another right denied to all but them.
