Albania is indeed a poor country but trust me my friend we don't have issues with no one. We are moving forward, our country is growing and more money is being invested. Big projects are to be build and soon there will be lots more jobs for everyone. We will see a big change in agriculture, tourism, fishing industry, electricity etc.

Dulo,

Don't flatter yourself. Do you honestly believe that the US sees Pristina as its equal with American troops now all over "Kosova"? Especially when you don't even have UN membership that all truly sovereign nations have.

Your embassy in the US is only an embassy in name. Kosovo is today a mere ward of the Americans. In real terms your embassy is just a platform for your American masters to convey their orders and instructions to you. Still, I am happy for you that your embassy is so near the White House. It will be faster and less tiring for the staff there to run to the White House whenever commanded to do so by the Yankees.

>> ""independence" is a relative thing. some of the former yugoslav republics will continue to live in the shadow of serbia, like it or not."

You mean Montenegro ? Even they recognized Kosova under EU pressure. Croatia and Slovenia made their choice pretty clear. The Macedonians (they are Slavs and we all know it!) will soon issue that invitation, 30% of their population is Albanian, and the Ohrid agreement is a requirement for EU. To make a long story short, FYROM can't do much against Albanians, even if they could or wanted to.

"..and having close to 30% ethnic Albanians of the population, you my friend wont have an easy mandate. Good luck, because you will need it."
Pejoni

We all know that in 30 years albanians will have taken over Macedonia thanks to high birthrates and refugees from the poorest country in Europe, Albania. Building an Israeli wall around albanian areas is the only solution to stop this albanian expansionism. It works in Israel and should work in the Balkans.

We got recognition from Macedonia. We can stay out of an inauguration if that makes Tadic happy. But that's all he will get. When he goes back to Serbia he will notice that Kosovo still is independent. This doesen't change anything because I bet the macedonian president and the Kosovar president have planned this like this. It is good for Kosovo that Macedonia is sending an welcoming hand to Serbia. Because as we can se Serbia is an alone country in the Balkan without good neighbourly relations with most of the balkan countrys.

I think its kind of late sucking up for Serbia today and having close to 30% ethnic Albanians of the population, you my friend wont have an easy mandate. Good luck, because you will need it.

in the region serbia is far more important than kosovo, especially for a small country like macedonia, so this is not surprising.

"independence" is a relative thing. some of the former yugoslav republics will continue to live in the shadow of serbia, like it or not.
