It will be no "blood"or any problems if someone catch and arrest those illegal alliens ASAP and this way people who really want to live can start they life's

if those simple criminals in Priština believe to play the violent card.., they could be dramatically overestimating themselves.

if there should break out any kind of armed conflict, my dear friends, you wouldn´t have much of a chance.

the US won´t help you again, okay they are not the smartest, but they are not THAT shortsighted.

you could be left with less than you thought before, if Serbia´s action is "fully on the way" as this naive propagandist is calling it.

It's high time the Serb in Kosmet establish their own protection force from the likes of NATO/KPS. Since Belgrade is focusing on other things.

EA

pre 14 godina

Central government control in northern Mitrovica and whole should should take place as soon as posible. The fear of "bloodshed" is just one of the scaremongering Serbian tactis.

Mike

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The best way to show whether EULEX is impartial to throwing tear gas at anyone is for Serbs to just pick up and move south of the Ibar and start (re)building houses in southern Mitrovica, Pristina, and other places. Once the frenzied Albanian mob forms five minutes after the first brick has been laid or the first nail has been hammered, let's see if EULEX holds back the riot. If they do, then it's fair game. Pristina authorities know pretty well they have no, and will have no, authority in the north, and that this is a cheap trick to stir Serb emotions. But it's playing nicely to their game - shifting focus towards ethnic conflict is always an effective way of distracting people from more pressing issues. But regardless of the fascistic statements of expansion coming from Albanian apparatchiks in Pristina, the Serb response to just 5 houses is enough for Pristina to cast blame of all Kosovo's problems on them. It's time Serbs got more practical instead of only responsing to the other side's first move.

Who cares if the Americans and the UK won't allow it! It's not up to America or any one else to dictate what Serbs do in their own country. Who made the yanks the decider to what is right and wrong? If the albanians got independence who can deny the serbs the same?

"I think that the will of even moderate Albanians has come to the limits of their patience".
Dulo

Ha ha ha! Empty threats. Not the first time we've heard "Thaci will do this and that" but what happens, NOTHING! There is absolutely nothing you can do! The West know they have made a huge misstake in Kosovo and they will eventually meet the Serb half way and let them have what the've got today.

Serbia is not Russia and Kosovo is not Georgia, we have one of the best advisers how to react, we do unlike Georgia HAVE the support of NATO and its even their responsibility to protect Kosovo from foreign and domestic threats. Had it been the case the north would secede, Belgrade would had given the green light to those extremist in north to break away on Feb 17th -08. But, they now what waites them and here we are today.

Hmmm. I wonder if EULEX mission in the North in not to intergrate but to drive out the remaining population.

Has EULEX over-stepped its mark?!

Dulo

I think the serbs just raised the stakes. Lets just see if someone is buying.

Makes no difference as I do not think that any Albanian will ever let any Serb anywhere being in Serbia or Japan with demand anything with the minute of a threat. I think that the will of even moderate Albanians has come to the limits of their patience.

Que sara,sara.

Milan

Pejoni - look at Georgia - NATO, Georgian ally was doing nothing when South Ossetia and Abkhazia seceded from Georgia. And will be doing nothing when North Kosovo, Strpce, Gracanica and other enclaves will secede from Kosovo.

Jonathan

The issue is not that the Serbs are protesting by WHY they are protesting. The simple fact is that Serbs and other minorities in Kosovo are living under siege. In addition, far from improving, it is getting harder and more dangerous for non-Albanian minorities to return to Kosovo thanks to continuing intimidation and government/EU ineptitude. These protesters are simply exposing the doublea standard. Until Serbs - who make up the vast majority of ethnically cleansed people - are able to return, then they will obstruct the return of Albanians. Ask yourself why the media attention is on these tiny protests when the real scandal is the fact that 10 years after the NATO intervention the majority of Serbs, Roma and Gorani ethnically cleansed from Kosovo by Albanians are nowhere near being able to return because of ongoing violence and intimidation by the same people who forced them out in the first place. Its like devoting the front page of the New York Times to reporting a parking ticket whilst a local massacre is consigned to the back-page.

This is a recipe for disaster.
If NATO decides to be Albanian personal airforce once again, they will be making a grave mistake.

They have already lost credibility and this time I seriously doubt that they would get away with it.

I call on Ivanovic to check with his lord first, Tadic and NOT to mention or call for bloodshed. Serbia is getting visa free travel in return, the deal has been made. In fact EU is waiting until law and order has been established in the North.

Daniel

Division is inevitable. Kosovo's Albanians should get used to the idea because it will happen soon. They'll have to redraw the flag, though:-) The best thing for everyone would be if both sides just meet and start negotiating again. Without negotiation, nothing will ever change

We Serbs of Northern Kosovo stand by Serbian constitution we don't live in "independent Kosovo" to respect kosovan "constitution", but in Serbia. Albanians who live in serbian North Kosovo have to respect our constitution.

Косово и Метохија

Kosovo is forever Serbian. Accept a Kosovo under Serbias rule or expect a Daytonized solution. Albanians need to realize that Serbia and the Serbian people will never allow you to steal our territory. Serbs have more patience then your masters the US of A. Serbs waited for 500 years for the Turks to leave. Waiting for America to get bored with stillborn Kosovo won't take too long :)

PZ

It’s really strange to me hearing over and over some “rules”, “agreement”, “reciprocity”, etc on the return process. There is no rule. All it takes is the desire to return. Some kind of agreement is circulating in the news and in some comments here, but so far no one has given a fact that such a thing truly exists. And if it exists who signed it? (Maybe it was reached between the Serbs in Mitrovica and Mr. Galluci, just like the 6 point plan).

It is also strange that everyone is against Serbs Mr. Ivanovic. So maybe you should reflect on yourself and on your policies and see why this is so?
