For Kosovo Serbs their national power operator is EPS - not KEK!

Then see if they will provide them with electicity, in the meantime, no power then.

Do the Kosova Serbs understand that to get a service (in this case electricity) you have to pay fo it. The same does everybody, Serbs no mater which country in Europe. If you do not pay you do not get that service. What does this request by KEK (Energy Supplier in Kosova) for electricity payment has to do anything with politics?!!!

From reading the previous news reports about the dispute between the K-Serbs and KEK, there appears to be a political agenda to this. In that, the K-Serbs are the victims of a sinister game of political football with electricity being used in this case.

The problem here is not that K-Serbs cant afford to pay their electricity bills, its that they are also being asked discreetly to recognise Pristina's authority and Pristina is using this to hold them over the barrell. This is despite the fact that a sizeable ethnic Albanian population in Kosmet have not/ are not paying their bills. It is absolutely pathetic that electricty, a basic right for us all is being used as a political weapon to either a) force the K-Serbs to sign up & b) force them out.

Tadic and his government must get the finger out and point out to EULEX whom they came to agreement with, that this behaviour is uncivilised and unacceptable.

And to think that just yesterday Serbs here were shouting foul play when these non-paying Serb consumers of electricity were left without power.

But KEK, the rightful owner of the distribution network, decided to FORGIVE the Serbs' debt!!

And yet what do we see? More stubbornness.

AH THE HYPOCRISY!!!

Well done!! Great patriotism of K-Serbs!! They can live without power but not recognize Kosovo authorities!!
As I wrote some days before - serbian citizens from Kosovsko Pomoravlje can pay bills - but not to albanian authorities, but to their country national compeny - Elektroprivreda Srbije!

I don't know the details but Serbs should not sign anything that refers to Kosovo as an independent state.

Only do business with UNMIK and EULEX!

International law is behind you!
