The ICTY's treatment of Dr. Seselj has set international law back decades. After the Seselj "trial" who would trust a so-called international tribunal to behave in a fair and unbiased manner?

Olli I agree and I've always said it. It was ridiculous that Seselj had to wait years before his trial started. Of course its not comfortable to defend the human rights of somebody who doesn't believe in the principle - unless its applied to himself.

However, his rights must be defended just like anybody elses.

As much as I believe Seselj is guilty I must admit his human rights are being violated –and in a serious scale. The way the Hague court behaves, and has behaved, unfortunately too often looks like being masterminded by those who do the maximum to discredit it.

More than being a tool in a punishing hand the Hague should be an institution delivering justice. Are we seeing this taking place?
