It won't have been hard to persuade them. Macedonia and Montenegro were more or less forced by the US to recognize Kosovo. And all three have minorities that would very carefully read the arguments that their governments used to justify that Kosovo separated itself and declared its independence.

Please provide us with something to back this up with. Seeing how you live in "Frisco" how oftern do you read Serbian press? Which press do you read and give us at least one example.

It's not enough to just throw a number out there without something to substantiante your claim.

With such a low opinion of Serbian press I don't understand why you are constantly here and some other places commenting.

BTW, B92 is Serbian press as well. Do they fall into this category?

they ran private information of a prominent human rights worker there, at least twice. free and responsible press there is a joke!

as for the "nato" press and its "Killings of journalists in the states", please provide us with details. utter garbage.

in yr beloved russia, however, it is absolutely a different story, and nearly 100% of the media is state (read: putin) run. to be a dissident journalist, ie go in any way against state policy, is to absolutely risk death. it has happened many, many times, and is one horrible shame.

Thanks Macedonia, Montenegro, and Croatia for recognizing Kosovo! That's what matters, not ICJ's OPINION! (which will be pro-Kosovo anyways :p)

I am half Kosovar and half New Zealander i am 23 and i think that i doubt Serbia could of persuaded Croatia to not participate i agree with Macedonia and Montenegro but not with Croatia. In this event I am unsure what to say about Croatia , Macedonia,Montenegro maybe they just want to see a clean result? Anyway but it really dosent matter because Kosovo has 21 and those are mostly strong countries supporting it and ones that are nearly if not always in line with the international laws. Unlike serbias side most of them were and are against or dont follow international court e.g Iran etc

If the ICJ rules Kosovo’s UDI is illegal, Croatia, Montenegro and Macedonia will very quickly revoke their recognition because then they can claim to be doing so because of International Law, . But the real reason will be to normalize relations with Serbia which is without a doubt the most important country in the region. Slovenia will probably hold out and still maintain their recognition, so well the UK, France, and Germany, but I think everyone will be surprised when the USA and Canada start having second thoughts. And finally don’t count on the Czech’s or Poland, Bulgaria and Hungary to continue their support they just need a reason to withdraw recognition and the ICJ will give them that reason.

NATO have killed more journalists in the states that were formally Yugoslavia than anyone else.

I very much doubt that the Pristina press is freerer than Belgrades.

Atleast we do not kill journalists unlike some of our neighbours.
Dulo

No you don't kill your journalists. That's because they are afraid to write about the truth. They write what their bosses tell them to write. If they did write the truth they would either be imprisoned or taken to a yellow house in Kukes for a doctors visit.

The Pristina Press is nothing more than a tabloid paper. Stick to writing about albanian actors and musicans. Leave the politics to your suggar daddy, the Americans.

What a ridiculous statement! If Serbia had the power to influence these Balkan nations wouldn't it have done so before they recognized Kosovo? "Let's NOT put pressure on Croatia, Montenegro and Macedonia so that they won't recognize Kosovo but let's put pressure on them IF it goes to court and when it's already to late to change their minds". Please! If you want something to write about then write about crime and Kosovos failing attempt to steal someone elses territory.

MikeC,
Is that opposed to the “professional” and “proof only” approach that Serbian Press takes MikeC????
Or should we leave the politics to you?
Are you trying to say that Serbian and pro-Serbian Politicians did not try to persuade countries to vote in their favour (or not vote)?
If that is the case MikeC what are they getting paid for?
Why all the trips around the world…. Tourism/Holidays/Short-long Weekend breaks!!!!???
The same is for Kosovo and pro-Kosovo Politicians.
This is their duty.
I have highlighted in numerous occasions, Jeremić is one of the hardest working ministers I have heard of (I only wish that our foreign minister was so devoted to his job).
Unfortunately our foreign minister prefers long sleeps and having the others do his job.
If Jeremić has persuaded ex YU states not to vote I congratulate him.
It is a political victory of his and a political defeat of our ministry. The truth will surface one or the other way.
P.S. Jovan please do not misquote my comment as you have the habit of doing.
