There has been some good work done to repair some of the damaged building, it really worth it. I doubt every body in kosovo is really happy about it, and I hope the good work will go on.

I don't know where you got this but man you are a bit desperate. Skenderbeu or better Gjergj Kastrioti was an Albanian born and died protecting our land from the otoman empire and at the same time protecting christianity. What do you say to our city Berat which is 2400 yrs old and was built by our ancestors as many things can prove it.

Jeremic is asking that the EU and Unesco protect Serbia's heratige so that his government does not have to and all we can talk about is some silly comment about who built Decani.

The enemy is not in Pristina, the enemy is in Belgrade and he takes instructions from Brussels.

Albanian extremists had destroyed over 150 churches and monasteries over the last ten years, 35 of which had been destroyed during the March 2004 pogroms against the Serbs.


Apart the trouble in 2004 i do not know any other damages done. I don't know how this guy comes up with the number 150 !
Never the less all these churches have been restored or nearly restored to their previous condition, in many cases even better, with Kosovar tax payer money.Not even a single penny the Serb payed!
For the Serbian commentator i will need to emphasise that the Albanians are people of 3 reliogns today , even though only a very small part actually practise religion. This includes orthodoxy too.
If you ever visit Albania you will see our orthodoxy churches which are much older that the one in Kosovo. These churches always been Albanian and still are!
The difference is that the Albanians never seen the need to link their identity based on churches and Mosques!
So please read a book before you actually write about our history!

I tell the same thing to Greeks who claim that Skenderbeg was actually a Greek named Jorgios. And then they go on saying that Mother Theresa wasn't an Albanian either. It's about this time that I start to crack up laughing.

In regards to Skenderbeg, What does make Skenderbeg Serbian is the work of over a dozen West European genealogists one whom is a descendant of Skenderbeg and a bearer of both of his last names; he is Nobile Loris Castriota-Skenderbegh.

According to this genealogy:



a) Skenderbeg is the great grandson of Branilo, the Serb duke of Kastoria.

b) Skenderbeg’s brother was named Stanisa, a contemporary Serbian name.

c) Stanisa’s son (Skenderbeg’s nephew) was also named Branilo.

d) Skenderbeg’s mother was Vojislava daughter of the Serb ruler of Polog

e) Skenderbeg’s sisters Valica and Jela mean ‘little wave’ and ‘dear’ in Serbian. Branilo and Stanisa are both Serbian names meaning ‘defender’ and ‘the one who stands,’ respectively.

Obilic is not a claim is reality. Please search on google for cities of Albania like Berat or Korca and see picture of these churches!
Again like every other serb commentator you know nothing of Albania history. The orthodoxy churches in Albania are based in southern Albania.There are none in north. In north the Albanians have catholic churches which again you can find them in Kosovo!
To put it more simple for you. 99% of Albanian catholic are in North of Albania and 99% of orthodox are in South!
It aways been like that for centuries! This is why in Kosovo and nothern Albania you find only catholic churches and none in Southern Albania and Nothern Greece ( which always had a very large populations of Albanians for centuries).
Like i said the Albanians never seen the need to identify their national identy with religions, in contrast to their neighbor in Greece, Serbia or Turkey!

Kosovo do not receive welfare money from EU or USA but loans, which they need to be payed back with interest!!!!
Again under Antihasari plan the Kosovo goverment has a duty to protect and ribuild these churches not the EU or USA! All the money are coming from Kosovo goverment budget which is filled by Kosovar taxpayer. Yes it may not be much, but never the less these are our money!
It is you who like to distort the truth!
Do you know that all the builders are Albanians and the churches are inside regions with more than 90% Albanians abbitants?
Do you know that it is now more than 6 month that the Kosovo police is in charge providing security to these churches, not KFOR or EULEX?
Belgrade should pay for it as we pay. If you don't want to do it because of your hate towards Albanians, you could do it for your own people!

1) The Serbian churches based in Kosovo are the oldest buildings in Kosovo, they are older than any Catholic church that is there, which proves my point that SERBS WERE IN KOSOVO BEFORE ALBANIANS....now there may have been a few albanians running around in the hills, but that cant be proved..either way, Serbs are the people that built Kosovo into a thriving community, and albanians are responsible for destroying it!

2) Skenderbeg was a Serb!

3) albanians in Kosovo will never be able to "repay" any sort of loan that they have recieved! Are you going to repay a loan by taking out a loan from someone else, pr by your thriving economy?
