I don't know, I am not educated enough on "zionism" issues to have let's say a valid opinion, all I'm saying is that this fellow is not the guy to address any of these issues because:
- he looks for getting more leverage in the muslim world
- he enjoys freedom of speech abroad, but denies the same right for people at home
- his only idea is: no state of Israel, full stop.

The question is not whether it is right or wrong to give opinion about Zionism. It is simply politically incorrect.
We live in an era of free speech. But if you dare to speak your mind regarding some topics you may very easily become the target of a witch hunt.

I see that it is a little bit of both, but I don't see why people boycotted or walked out on his speech when he gave his opinion on Zionism. Is it wrong to say?

Peter,
an extract from Ahmadinejad's speech, AP as source:
"Dear friends, today, the human community is facing a kind of racism that has tarnished the image of humanity. In the beginning of the third millennium, the world Zionism personifies racism that falsely resorts to religion, and abuses religious sentiment to hide their hatred and ugly faces. However, it is of great importance to bring into focus the political goals of some of the world's powers and those who control huge economic resources and interests in the world, and mobilize all their resources, economic and political influence, and world media to render support in vain to the Zionist regime, and maliciously to diminish to indignity and disgrace this regime."

Does anyone know if he said that the Israeli government is racist or whether or not Zionism is racist, because I think that this makes a really big difference.

Isn't it interesting that a majority of these politically correct hypocrats who left the session not long ago supported independent kosovo and Sakashvilli?Puppets of the worst kind!

Hristos a inviat!
Not that I'm just back from Jerusalem and would like to praise Israel in any way, but let's not forget that Mr Ahmadinejad in front of Mr Ali Khamenei is like a gardner in front of Mr. Ali Khamenei.
Lately, lots of pathetic and frustrated "leaders" are coming out from their caves and think that exploiting on some people's sometimes just feelings (I have Gaza in my mind right now) would give them a sort of aura of great "leadership".
Maybe people that did not walk out, should try to live for at least a week as a woman in Iran and then let's see if they are still able to think about "zionism".
Mr Khamenei is almost wanting an Israeli strike on Iran, cause only some "zionist" threat would assure an absolute power of the regime for the decades to come.

Hmmm... Anyone objecting my long ramblings about Iran?

This is medieval bigotry at it's worst

"Although the subject of international sanctions and now the target of one of the largest public walkouts in diplomatic history, Mr Ahmadinejad just this weekend told an audience in Tehran that "Iran is one of the most popular countries in the world".

Islamo-fascists belong to the garbage heap of history.
