to BH-NYC:

it´s quite laughable to accuse ME of using albanian nick-names here, since it was ME who was always asking the Albanians here who use these poor tactics to use their real names instead of hiding behind western-sounding nick-names.

and now an Albanian is accusing ME of that! unbelievable.

let me assure you, my dear, this "Bekim" has nothing to do with me.

to all others:
the US-government is duping the Albanians, and this could be seen as just another proof of it.

like another poster noticed it above, the socalled "Ahtisaari-plan" was buried in the UNSC, and the US were the losers in that particular case.

actually there isn´t a single official document that the US or other supporters of the illegal puppet entity could show up with, so... referring to it, is simply a sign of having no ideas.

as far as I am concerned, that´s good.

just let the Albanians believe that their "government" gave Mr.Tadic the "permission" to enter "their state"

and they will feel good.

sometimes it´s so easy to be tricked.

(EA, 19 April 2009 09:25) "

EA,

Tadic certainly didn't enter Decani on a Kosovo visa. When was one issued anyway?

However much Pristina likes to spin the situation to imply that it alone "granted" Tadic permission to enter Kosovo, the plain truth that is undeniable is as below:

Tadic asks EU to let him enter Kosovo. The EU, possibly in consultation with the US, allows him in (hence the KFor escort). Pristina was told privately by the West in no uncertain terms not to disrupt the entry (not that they would have the means to do so if they wanted to, at least not without antangonising the West). To allow Pristina to save face, the EU and US arranged for Eulex to "ask" for Pristina's opinion about the visit, while at the same time making it clear to the Albanians that a refusal would be greatly detrimental to their interests.

That's realpolitik. Neither Belgrade nor Pristina are in real control south of the Ibar now. The real masters are the EU and US -- and they are currently too mired in their severe economic crisis to want to go through an artificial crisis now in the Balkans!

Mike,

What I am saying again is that Tadic and any other Serbian leader should not be allowed to enter Kosova without permission ie visa entry from the Kosova's institution. That is a STRAIGHT talk.

Talk about pouring salt on an open wound. First Tadic requests permission from Eulex to enter the country, announcing to the world that Serbia has no control there. Then Eulex announces that the decision is solely left to the Kosovo govt. Then the US govt congratulates the Kosovo govt for allowing him to visit. Boy that's gotta hurt.

Why not re-entitle the article "US Insults Serbia and the UN again".

Bring the US embassy up to date - the Arti plan does not exist and Serbia is not bound by any of its concepts. To talk in terms of it is insulting.

1244 does exist and there is still need for a negotiated settlement as determined by that document.

The status of Kosov'a' is as uncertain as it has ever been - at best it is a temporary institution dependent on the US to hold it's head out of the water to stop it drowning.

Serbia should warn the US embassy to moderate the language coming out of its doors and keep to the terms agreed in 1244.

Any proof? Sad, if it is expected, someone is obligated to have the "mandatory" opinion, be them "Jovan" or "Gjon".

That kills the democracy and makes certain loser politicians to rise who are good only as fascist demagogues or organ-harvesters but not good leaders.

Mrs kaidanov welcomes a decision that was not made by kosova!!!Great indeed!
Does she welcome the declaration of Mr Tadic there too?She says nothing about the most important part of the play, because all this show had only this purpose :having a spreech of Tadic in kosova as part of Serbia,no?
So Madame, what do you thing of Mr Tadic speech,we need to have a clear message from you about it!
Are Nato and Eulex promoting antiindependence politics, and supporting antiindependence activities:that's the only thing that matters and believe me ,you will have to convince a lot of us now .

In correcting the above paragraph:

- it's not an embassy but a consulate
- the decision was just an act
- it's not a sovereign state but a province
- the Ahtisaari plan has been rubbished by nearly three quarters of the United Nations.

"Tadic either is going to come as invited and respect the Kosova's institutions or it will be A REAL HEADACHE! Good health is more important than anything else!"

So what are you suggesting EA? That in the absence of any rational plan, you advocate the physical violence on someone, a statemen nonetheless? Who else are you planning on attacking? Perhaps the Patriarch as well? I can remember when your comments were far more sensible than the "angry Albanian nationalist" rants you've been making here of late, and believe me, this site does't need another one of them. All capital letters, exclamation points, and the idea of shouting through your keyboard makes you a small person indeed, more so now if the only thing you can think of to salve your apparently wounded pride is to insinuate a mob. Good job. Real "European" of you.

It didn't seem as a visit of a president in his "own" country.

Next time will be much much harder to get through easily. Trust me. Tadic either is going to come as invited and respect the Kosova's institutions or it will be A REAL HEADACHE! Good health is more important than anything else!
