Thank you for stating the obvious:

Serbia is not in chanrge in Kosova since 1999

UNMIK is not in charge in Kosova snce 17 Feb. 2008.

The request for permission to visit Kosova by the Serbia president was sent to a right address.

I applaud President Tadic for requesting permission from the EU to visit Decani on Good Friday and I denigrate Mr De Kermabon for making this fact public!
President Tadic is trying to appease all sides in order to maintain good relations and this is undermined by making public the fact that he had to look for permission from the EU to enter Kosovo. I feel the De Kermanbon showed great insensitivity and poor judgement in this instance.

As far as I am concerned our independence has just been destroyed.

Cheer up. Your independence is not somewhat one can take and destroy or announce. It is inside and this is not the end of the world. What was done till yet (UDI) was a game where ordinary people were used as pawns. What happened now was also some sort of game - with one leadership proving, they are more professional than their opponents. But everyone already knew it.

This is a clear, well-deserved thumbs down for a certain little group. In the fact, maybe a sign of better times coming for everyone with more professional leadership in Kosovo. It is your call to exercise your independence and vote more with brain than with heart next time.

I'd say Mr. Tadic visited Decani to compare his CIA notes with those of another CIA backed consortium called 'Sava and Theodossier'(sic).

Yes it is sick.

For me, Kosovo i Metohija will always be part of the Serb Nation.

For Mr. Tadic, it would be more in his line if he just went up the road to PEC Patriarchate and made amends to someone there and then resigned from office.
He's only fooling himself, no one else!

Tadic should not have had to ask. But at the end of the day, he did not ask the separatist government in Kosovo and therefore this is a Serbian victory.

Kosovo is Serbia

Happy Easter!

@Bekim:

there is no independence.

but that is no reason to be angry or disappointed, since the K-albanians are of course equal citizens like all other citizens of the Republic of Serbia.

so, you haven´t lost anything.

the only thing I can tell you is to stop viewing Serbia as your enemy, we have a lot to build up between our two ethnicities.

but that will only start when this independence-illusion is over.

my best wishes to my k-albanian fellow-citizens.

peace!

Tadic seeks permission to visit Kosovo from EU,thats the problem why does he have to have permission from someone who has no damn business being involved in Kosovo?

Bekim

Serbia won this one and all our puppets in Prishtina just ran scared like little mice. Sham on us for letting this one pressure our "government". As far as I am concerned our independence has just been destroyed.

A Serbian President should not have to receive permission by the EU to visit a part of his own country.

Tadic really comes across as weak and ineffectual.

Whichever way you try to spin it, the truth of the matter is that the final decision was with the Kosova government. they could have said no, and he could not have entered,
