You see to "expect" the estimate of B92 is very different to the "facts" of the current reality!
B92 and Serbia also "expect" that Kosovo would one day return to Serbia, or even worse no albanian will be left in Kosovo, but again keep your eyes to the facts and the reality in Kosovo!
As i mention there is no need for a Serb passport since you can't go far with it. Secondly even if Serbia get visa abolishment with EU still it would be ilegal for the Kosovars to obtain a Serb passport since the west recognizes Kosovo as a indepedent state, and therefore you have to use your own country passport.
Kosovo passport is recognized in EU & USA and 99% of Kosovars only travel west.
I can't thing of any reason why an Albanian would want to have a Serbian passport unless they live in Serbia, do bussines in Serbia or people from mix marrigies!
Not a very large number but anyway Albanians having Serbian passport didn’t stop UDI and recognitions. These are not robots or animals we are talking about but humans who want a chance in life and if that means having a Serbian passport then so be it. Kosovo Serbs prefer to see Kosovo being part of Serbia but that’s not stopping them from working in KPS/KSF and having Kosovar passports etc. At the end of the day this only goes to show that personal interests go before anything else, everyone is a patriot in the Balkans, until you touch their pockets that is anyway ;-)

What does it tell you, assuming estimates are true? That 200,000 Albanian love Serbia or just want passports to immigrate if they can get them? They would take Chinese passports if that was practical
Individuals are mainly interested in personal benefit and not political considerations.These Albanians are just hedging their bets as to which passport will be more beneficial in any given situation.Many Albanians are willing to bow to the Queen of England and claim British ancestry if it suits their purpose and allows them to stay in Britain so why shouldn't they get a Serbian passport if they qualify which by the looks of it are 50 years ahead of Kosovan ones as far wide acceptance by the whole world even the entire EU area which many Albanians seem to be deluded into thinking that they are wanted.Ask any person in Prague whether he feels safer next to a Serb on the bus or an Albanian.

Ratko last time a checked the Western Emabssies in Belgrade wouldn't even issue a visa to travel West for the Serbs! The only benefits of a Serbian passport is travel to Russia with no visa , which i doubt any Albanian, either in Kosovo or Albania, is the prefered destination.
Secondly a large number of Albanians in Kosovo have a western passport already or their parents have, and they see no need to aply for a visa and even less need for a Serbian passport!
1.200 i suspect are mainly Albanian businesmen who need to travel to Serbia and also people from mix marriages.
By the way if you see the numbers of Serb in Kosovo issue with a Kosovo passport you may get a shock!

To Serbs: this is another excuse for EU to make you face the reality. You cannot issue passports to people you can't control and in borders you can't control.
Why would some Albanians take them?? Practicality, the same reason Serb cops are taking KPS money and not working. In this case, it's a passport and the visa-free is a benefit issued by EU.
Obviously those Valley Albanians prefer to live in a relatively developed country like Serbia as opposed to the poorest country in Europe after Moldova. Anyway, how are Albanian passports in any way valuable, as you imply?
