Mr TAdic, Serbia needs a wholesale reform of it's economic policies and the population in Serbia should wake up, realise that they can't continue to rely on state jobs, or "jobs for the boys", for job security. Serbian industry is very inefficient. It'll be very hard but necessary to kickstart Serbia into the 21st century economically.

Serbia recently passed a law trying to get rid of TV fortune tellers. If Tadic and Cvetkovic continue making these absurd claims I think they should be forced into exile [to get buy this law they just moved to RS and are now on Bosnian based channels] just like the tv fortune tellers, tv esoterics and other such nonsense.

Mr. Tadic, running a failed state with a criminalized society entails a little more that posing in front of TV cameras - or a mirror, for that matter.

Very unfair to say that the Government has only just agreed on measures to tackle the recession. Before the last round of expense cutting and revenue raising they provided funds to allow citizens to exchange their old cars for a new, reasonably priced fiat, they provided funds to guarantee liquidity or investment loans to companies who don't really need them, and, most importantly of all, secured IMF funds and renegotiated local debt with foriegn banks, the end result of which is that Delta Holdings will most likely survive the crisis, despite its very high gearing. Well done, Boki!

Well, since the recession in Serbia has only just begun and the government measures have only just been agreed upon, its a real stretch to say that the governnment is getting results. I'd say the government has done a poor job so far.

As for learning new things etc ie training, the state should pump money into training programmes in areas where there are jobs / potential jobs. But it is pretty pointless retraining yourself in a field where there are no jobs. But ok, in principle its good to learn new things and people must be aware that they must change with the times. There is no such thing as a job for life any more.
