Sorry....that statement is false. Eastern (Orthodox) and Western (Catholics, Protestants, etc) Easter dates have nothing to do with the Gregorian or Julian calendars, like Christmas does. Both Eastern and Western churches determine the Easter date by being the first Sunday after the first full moon, after vernal equinox (March 22). However the other stipulation for the Orthodox is that Easter date also has to be after the Jewish Passover, which the Western Church for some reason doesn't take into account.

I would rather say, tomorrow (Monday) is THE DAY for "the rest of us" (Catholics, Protestants, some non-believers) with the obligatory "egg-hunt" and rabbits because probably the majority here will celebrate a week later.

You can buy a little almost newborn rabbit almost everywhere in Hungary. They can be easily "recycled" because the villagers accept the cute little animals back after the holidays.

There are only 20 minutes left till Easter Monday, so I dare to say

somewhat "prematurely".

(who want, please find the "difference" between Russian, Serbian and archaic Bulgarian greeting - and be "surprised")

Being the Protestants far our daily Balkan life, they get easily forgotten.

Nothing to do with my Catholic baptism.

Sure thing, happy Easter Day to them too, hopefully none commited harakiri because of half-comment.
