EU Experts usually make me sick and very sick indeed when they start talking about Serbia integrating into the EU.

They would lead one to think that the Serbs are some newfound tribe of barbarian that desperately needs to be 'europeanised' before they can join the EU Club of 'civilised nations'.

These 'Experts' should realise that Serbia has always been in the heart of Europe and is probably more European than most EU states.

Serbia's accession process to the EU will take 6-7 years once the accession negotiations start.

Look at Croatia. Croatia started negotiations with the EU in 2005 and will probably join the EU in 2012.
