--- Not really ! I don’t think so and I didn’t mean it . What I know for sure is that all NATO countries involved to the conflict with Russia will easily be destroyed and stop to exist. I agree that in conventional armaments we need 5-7 years to reach NATO level but you have to understand that there is a very big difference between the Soviet and the Russian war doctrines.

As you must remember USSR declared that it will in no case use the nukes the first. Meanwhile the current Russian doctrine runs that in case of necessity Russia can use first all nuclear and other unconventional armaments we have. This doctrine equalizes our capacities. Moreover it runs that we can use it when there’s a direct threat not only to Russia but also to our allies.
And you must be aware that our missiles of all kinds are much better than the similar missiles US have today. Our BULAVA ,TOPOL- M , SS-20 and other missiles can penetrate US defense without any problems. All because they were designed to deal not with the already existing US shield but to penetrate any system that can be developed in the future.

So now you can judge which of us is stronger and if someone on this beautiful planet has a shelter from us. Remember how the US reacted when we were eating Georgia ! Do you really think that they will respond different if we strike a NATO member ? NATO is a tool to keep the West’s power but not an instrument of committing suicide.

Good comment ! We understand each other. After the severe loses we both suffered during the last war we both want it to be really the last one.

As for TOPOL you are right but I wrote TOPOL-M which make big difference. You must also understand that military planning always take into consideration the defense systems of the opponents. So Topols may be planned to use where the defense is weak or do not exist at all. Many of the Russian missiles ( and I guess the Americans too) are programmed to automatic launch if the operator doe not interfere within some time. It is a for revenge strike in case the enemy is able to destroy the communication or neutralize our political leaders. So best if we do not check which side is stronger. Let’s trust each other.

The communist government should resign and new elections should be organized.

I don't know if you can read romanian, but that article linked from wikipedia page of Voronin is saying only (truly) that his mother is romanian and indeed his grandfather was a romanian from Transnistria who fought the soviet communists and was actually deported twice to Siberia.
His father was a siberian russian, an expert in setting up "colhoz" s.
Indeed, his is a genuine type of the worst kind of soviets: Stockholm syndrome as a kid, brainwashing as a youngster, homo sovieticus as an adult, former USSR-type "capitalist-politician" in the late years.

Great news. Given his family past that's called "A vér nem válik vízzé" = "the blood won't become water". Not everyone who had public office during Antonescu was a fascist, of course - but this saying comes in mind immediately.

After that I just do not know, is he a fascist in communist skin or a communist in a fascist skin.

As for alleged Russian help: for any insanity you can find some helping hands. Now if that's "official" Russia, than not much excuse. You did not prove it yet, I feel it somewhat unlikely but if it is, it won't surprise me a lot. I am by no means Putin-sympatizer.

I have a good job in Romania. I am working as project manager for a multinational company.

The salaries in Romania are not like in Western Europe but Romania is fast developing with the help of the EU.

It's true thaat not much of the world would be left if NATO and Russia fought, but I think that without nukes (indeed, the Topol is a formidable weapon), Russia would need to seriously revamp their army to match NATO. Regarding Georgia, well of course NATO would not risk open war with Russia over something like Georgia, they would be stupid if they did, the war would be too huge over nothing, but if Russia attacked a NATO country, OK, maybe they would not react militarily immediately, but if Russia were to persist, I am sure that they would.

Of course if it came down to a war between NATO and SCO, then it would be more evenly matched and Eurasia and North America would probably be completely wiped out.

Of course nobody would want another war like WW2, that was proof when military powers went to war against each other without regard for human life. That is why I think, for global peace, the best option would be:

Partnership for Peace must continue to exist, NATO must not expand Eastward (we do not need Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine), only in the Western Balkans, and if Austria, Sweden, Finland, Ireland and Switzerland should have the option too, but Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine should either have a pro-Russian government, or if they have an anti-Russian one, they should at least remain militarily neutral, as a buffer between NATO and Russia, because there is nothing more dangerous than some idiot like Saakashvili or Yushchenko, who can spoil everything between us.

I don't know if you can read romanian, but that article linked from wikipedia page of Voronin is saying only (truly) that his mother is romanian and indeed his grandfather was a romanian from Transnistria who fought the soviet communists and was actually deported twice to Siberia.
His father was a siberian russian, an expert in setting up "colhoz" s.
Indeed, his is a genuine type of the worst kind of soviets: Stockholm syndrome as a kid, brainwashing as a youngster, homo sovieticus as an adult, former USSR-type "capitalist-politician" in the late years.
It shouldn't have been a Romanian-Russian thing, but thanks to some big brains in Kremlin, it's becoming.

Great news. Given his family past that's called "A vér nem válik vízzé" = "the blood won't become water". Not everyone who had public office during Antonescu was a fascist, of course - but this saying comes in mind immediately.

After that I just do not know, is he a fascist in communist skin or a communist in a fascist skin.

As for alleged Russian help: for any insanity you can find some helping hands. Now if that's "official" Russia, than not much excuse. You did not prove it yet, I feel it somewhat unlikely but if it is, it won't surprise me a lot. I am by no means Putin-sympatizer.

I don't think many Russians do sympatize with Voronin. If it turns out, "official" Kremlin does - shame on them. I am really sick of clumsiness in foreign politics and plundering of the country for own interest in the domestic politics.

Russia is not to blame here, but I agree, the people have the right to decide what path to take for a better future of the people. I hope one day Russians and Romanians live at peace with one another, despite the path, as well as us Poles and the Russians as well.

Regardless, is it obsolete, inferior or not - it's enough to wipe out anything living on the Earth several times. That is, including Russia itself and all the NATO.

Not sure, these "weeks" would mean anything because

a) there won't be who will neutralize in NATO
b) nothing will be left in Russia to neutralize either.

Good comment ! We understand each other. After the severe loses we both suffered during the last war we both want it to be really the last one.

As for TOPOL you are right but I wrote TOPOL-M which make big difference. You must also understand that military planning always take into consideration the defense systems of the opponents. So Topols may be planned to use where the defense is weak or do not exist at all. Many of the Russian missiles ( and I guess the Americans too) are programmed to automatic launch if the operator doe not interfere within some time. It is a for revenge strike in case the enemy is able to destroy the communication or neutralize our political leaders. So best if we do not check which side is stronger. Let’s trust each other.
