A very wise move. The ultimate goal is to have no duty between Serbia and EU as well as between Serbia and most of ex-USSR. This will make Serbia the best place to set up an export-import warehouse and Serbian companies would be in ideal position to be the distributors of goods coming to European continent.

Now everything is in place, what is missing is the "other" end of SAA and a similar agreement with Kazakhstan.

To EA:

None of the countries you mentioned is on the list. As for North Korea - you can buy products made in North Korea in the States easier and cheaper than in Serbia or Russia. :(
What is it about - look at other discussions.

No, the governments will make it DAMN SURE, such North Korean products won't be sold in Serbia duty or tax free :((

Lukashenko starts to control business relations with Serbia by himself, before they have even started. It's always the same funny story ... but let's count results in one year to see, how effective this deal has been.

I was expecting this kind of comment coming from you. Why is it so bad to set up relations with countries that the EU may not like. Serbia is expanding both east and west and every time Serbia signs a deal or has meetings with representatives the EU doesn't like, its you and your Albanian goons on this site that have to criticize it.

Serbia must go both east and west. Getting closer to all countries in the world that are in Serbia's interest is a positive step. Besides, Belarus is far from a "rouge state" or any other Bush era terminology you throw at me. It has came a long way from the end of the Soviet Union and is doing very good for itself.

And had it been Kosovo/Belarus sign free trade agreement, I'm sure EA would approve no doubt...

On a serious note, about time they signed it. We've been hearing about it for over a year now.

And I say why not? These nations are more friendlier to us and treat us on a 1 to 1 basis. On the other hand when dealing with the west, we are treated on a lower level. This is great news, and I hope that Venezuela will be the next. Free trade is only good if it is between nations who have similar levels of development.

Though I have more respect for the mentioned countries than any of European puppets that have recognized Serbian province nearly a state I have to disagree cause NEXT WILL BE RUSSIA.

It's very simple for on the eve of signing the Customs' Union with Russia and Kazakhstan Luka would never do such a step without consulting his partners. Thus third will be Kazakhstan.
