Blocking and perverting the parliament as a stage for undemocratic behaviour was and is characteristical stigma for political parties, which tend towards totalitarism. SRS is an example for the maturity of parliamentarism in Serbia.

This is why the SRS will never enter government ever again. They are not a real political party, they are a bunch of jokes. Refusing to take their seats? Are you kidding me???

Nikolic was a genius for leaving these people and starting his own party, a modern center right party focused on the real issues of Serbia.

The renovation looks great. My compliments to the workers. Just to point out the photo in the article itself is actually a older photo. The new shots can be seen in B92's photo's section.

Serbia must be a wonderful place to live in, if seating arrangements in the parliament is the most pressing problem facing the political parties. No serious problems like looming budget deficits, pensions, unemployment, energy supplies or whatever is plaguing the rest of the world. Wonderful!

Better still would be Tchaikovsky’s “March Slav”. This was originally called the “Serbo-Russian March” and its best parts were taken from Serbian folk tunes. The last part of the March is the old Tsarist national anthem.
