Both sides, keep cool :)))

This is a Romanian speaking:

The University who awarded the doctorate is a private one, and (please allow me a moment of pure pride, as a graduate of the Bucharest State University ;) not the best one among its kind. However, they are free to do whatever they want, so why not?
If Ismail Kadare will come tomorrow in Bucharest, surely he will get the same honorary recognition (although in his case, the distinction is much more motivated as he's a great writer, I just finished his "Elegy for Kosovo", he was kind enough to mention the presence of the Romanian (Wallachian) contingent at the Kosovo Polje Battle, in 1389...)

Best from Bucharest,
George

And I guess your recognitions have come from the love for Albanians.

I know this news article is very disappointing for some here, but TRY not to act out those knee-jerk reactions you have… if nothing else, because they make you look ridiculous.

Congratulations to President Tadic, this doctorate is in deserving hands.

Now Kosova has lot its independence for real, surely a honorary doctorate will convince us Albanians that we have lost and must return under Serb governance. A sad day for Kosova!

At least Romania is in the EU. Last time I checked Albania wasn't an EU member. Who knows, perhaps Tadic will get an award in Burma, Iran or Albania next time.

We’re grateful to Romania for her principled position and continued support in preserving our sovereignty and territorial integrity,“ said Tadić.
