Finance minister announces new taxes, salary freeze

Finance Minister Diana Dragutinović has announced the introduction of a new income tax base band of RSD 12,000, which will be subject to six percent taxation.

Well I think as a compromise there should be three tax bands for the new tax.
3 percent for those earning upto 12,000, 6 percent for those earning between 12,000 - 70,000 and 12 percent for those earning more than 70,000.

Yeah, its still not fair and perhaps even more people would get annoyed at the idea, but I think its absurd that those in poverty have to pay the same percentage as the very richest.

If we must make sacrifices those at the top have to take the lead.

Unilaterally implementing the SAA causes a lack for the state budget so they have to find the money elsewhere. Be greatfull to the Frankenstein coalition :)

120 Euros and taxed an extra 6%? That's a disgrace of epic proportions. 120EUR is nothing...anywhere. Seize the Mafia money and cut 15% of the government, starting with Bogdanovic.

Unbelievable. They are taxing parts of the population which can't afford to be taxed. They should be taxing the rich and ultra rich in society as they already pay low rates of tax.
