"NATO attacks were big mistake"

'Defense Minister Dragan Šutanovac (DS) stated that the NATO-led bombing of Serbia was "a big mistake made by the NATO alliance and that it should have never happened".

What a gutless, pathetic statement. No, this was not a 'mistake', it was a bloody war crime!! The bombing was completely illegal, it was based on complete lies (the Racak hoax and '100,00 dead albanians'), and civilian targets were bombed all over Serbia, not to mention the use of depleted uranium and cluster bombs. The evidence against NATO is overwhelming and they should be tried for war crimes in a real court. The case would be a slam dunk, and everyone knows it.
Once I hear a Serbian Defense minister say this, then I will know we have the right minister representing Serbia, not a sycophant who loves being abused by his masters.

In the Balkans only the Serbs have started wars lately so

Nobody is intending to attack Albania so who cares whether they join NATO or not. Why do you even bring this up? What has Turkey or Albania being mebers of NATO have to do with Kosovo which is legally a Serbian province?

I think by your logic, we should enter into an alliance with Russia or China, we might not be able to “attack” anyone (who cares?), but no one would be able to attack us either.

Of course military alliances never brought any lasting peace to Europe, WWI is the prime example.

Once “everyone” is in NATO, it’ll cease to have any meaning but as a “global” police force imposing its will across the globe.
