What Jeremic was not enough for this mission?
Of course, nationalistic rhetoric on Kosovo is easier than dealing with the worsening economy and the juridical reforms in the country.

"...but that the number of internally displaced persons who returned to their homes last year recorded a dramatic drop....
I wonder why this should be a surprise to Ban? The UN should tell the truth and reveal the reasons why IDPs have not been allowed to return to their homes and property. The reason is of course that the United States and some EU countries did not want Serbs to return claiming that if Serbs were allowed to return to Kosovo in any significant numbers it would lead to another war. The US et al also wanted to facilitate the UCK land grab of all the agricultural land and houses/apartments which belonged to Serbs. They think their dirty deeds and actions will not be exposed, but very soon the truth will out! Iseult

Don't be silly, Serbia won't recognise Kosovo because this so-called independence is a mockery of international law.

One more trip to New York, one more speech, one more opportunity missed.
Instead of addressing Serbia'a problems mounting (bankrupcy, corruption, violence in the streets), Mr. Tadic will fight a loat war.

REALISTIC that is not a priority at this stage. Serbia must recognise Kosova first before any talks can take place.
