"...Now Serbs living without electricity for so long is a clear ethnic cleansing tactic.
If I get my electric bill and on it there is a stamp of some country I don't live in, how on earth do I take that seriously and pay it?
Sorry, but 2/3 or the world would not pay your bogus bill.
(Peggy, 22 March 2009 21:11)"

However that is the reality now, stamp or no stamp, they are living in a new country called Republic of Kosova, where are the laws, and no money no goods, as simple is that.

"...conflict between being a Serb and a Kosovar".

What is a "Kosovar"?Does this non-existing term imply that some other nationality like Kosovo Albanian is somehow more from Kosovo than Kosovo Serbs?
Stop being redicilous: "Kosovars" don't mean a thing, just like the Kosovo UDI.

"Living in Kosovo" - I would like to inform you that the worst KEK client is the Kosovo Government and the Kosovo Albanians, Why? They are the majority. Do KEK cut the power to them NO, only a few taking into consideration the number of Albanians in the Province. Why KEK re-established the power to the Kosovo Albanian villages, that are located in the surrounding the K Serbs. Kosovo it's a land where the social life and justice sense of balance does not exist. The Kosovo "authorities" are fake and they have instructed all the controlled institutions such KEK, Police; to make sure that the K Serbs, leave Kosovo for good. Why? Because, they don’t want the decentralization of the province. It's time to stop with this VIOLENCE against the minorities in Kosovo. It's REAL and institutions such as ICO, EULEX and UNMIK do not want to see the gravity of the situation. Why because of all them, sleep in luxurious apartments, have 24 hrs electricity, some close protection, attending social events, and they never visited a Serbian and minorities villages, where children and old people are segregated living below misery in the 21st Century. What the international community have done against this NOTHING. I would like that ALL of you visit Kosovo and particulary to the villages where some minorities are living such Priluzje, Plamentina- 200/500 meters from KEK Kosovo B, where the electricity is produce. Stay well and when reading this remember how luck you are.

"More and more Serbs of Kosova will come around the idea that there is no real conflict between being a Serb and a Kosovar."

Village-bey, what is a Kosovar?
In Kosovo, we have Serbs and Albanians but Kosovar is only something I have seen Albanians write. There is no such race. Kosovo is a region not a country and people living there are Serb, Albanian, Roma etc.

Now Serbs living without electricity for so long is a clear ethnic cleansing tactic.
If I get my electric bill and on it there is a stamp of some country I don't live in, how on earth do I take that seriously and pay it?

(GSP, 22 March 2009 15:37)"

GSP - Where you been informed that the Kosovo Serbs have paid for the electricity bills?, Whether you have the sure knowledge or is it just what do you expect, There is United Nations and the EULEX presence in Kosovo following the government and whole Kosovo under the microscope, if there had been discrimination and deliberate, without any valid reason to cut off the electricity supply in Serb housing areas, then the UN and EULEX would have done something about it, Kosovo Serbs did not pay the electricity bills in the last ten years and Serbs are not the only ones from who have been cut off the electricity, the last two years payment monitoring began in Kosovo where also the electricity of Kosovo Albanians were cut off from those who did not pay.

In Kosovo KFOR and EULEX of the European standards in accordance with the law and legal system will certainly not allow any activity that you seem to imagine.

This precise control of the billing means that Kosovo is developing day by day to a functioning state.

There is no free electricity, pay a bill = no cut off.

i don't know why you guys are making such a big deal out of this....it's simple: pay your bills and you'll have electricity 24/7....as simple as that!

DD

If you don't pay your bill, you will have no electricity...go to any other country, and it's the same.
I lived in US for 8 years (escaping Serbia's drafting) and if I didn't pay my electricity, FPL (Florida's KEK) would cut me off after 2 weeks.) Good luck on getting your power back on without paying first!

Funny how the individuals agreed to it, so what does the Serbian government have to do with anything? If they could anything, power would be on already

Of course Serbia will not pay those bills with the Republic of Kosovo stamp on there, or for another reason or another.
Serbs in Kosovo must be suffering for the govt propaganda to work.

While living there, I do not remember there being a Republic of Kosovo stamp on the KEK bill. Maybe one of the people currently living in Kosovo could enlighten us as to whether it is there or is this a Serbian ploy?

Many Serbs have no jobs because of discrimination, lack of physical safety in transit and the poor economy. I wonder what they agreed with KEK when they lacked money to pay ...... maybe they had to agree to sell their organs to KEK ... how much electricity for a kidney?

More and more Serbs of Kosova will come around the idea that there is no real conflict between being a Serb and a Kosovar. Despite trumpeted rhetoric coming from BG there is no grounded conflict among different layers of loyalty and representation. It has always been the leitmotif of those preferring separation that the same land can’t be shared by our two people. That message is an absolute travesty. It is socially unaccepted, ethically anachronistic and historically not true.
Good on them Serbs of ‘Ranilug, Glogovac, Tomanac, Pančela and Malo Ropotovo’ who come into a civil agreement with KEK. It has always been my firm belief that civil agreements will be the key to future settlements of sensitive areas.
