oh really? so why a new dayton then when everything will work out as in state-departments daydreams?

as soon as americas chapter in the balkans is over, they get negotiation-junkies...

so no unilateralism anymore?

i wil tell you something, there will be a hell of border changes in the balkans, but just the kind us don't like.

the us will be again angry and red-faced, at least for that few weeks you don't need russian and chinese money, and that was it.

or not, but both options lead to the same door called: who cares???

Vojvodina is 67% Serbian. I don't get how that is so hard to understand. Meanwhile the other 33% minority is not like Albanians, they support the country they live in and don't believe in illegal and unsuccessful decelerations of independence.

Hungarians, Romanians, Slovakians.. you really think these people have harsh attitudes towards Serbs and Serbia?? There was a high number of Hungarians that signed up for the Yugoslav army and went to Kosovo to protect it's country from Albanian terrorist monsters.

So please, keep dreaming.. keep dreaming Vojvodina and the people in Vojvodina actually think like the people in Kosovo. Keep dreaming that Kosovo is the center of the world for Europe and are desperately looking for "trade offs", and conditions for other countries to recognize Kosovo, they do not care!

I have a point on the issue but with a NIC like mine no matter what I say. Serbs and their few suppoters will recommend my post and all the rest will give me "poor comments" ...

Thank you Alban for supporting the 72% Serbian population in Vojvodina. Yes, we Serbs in Vojvodina are so happy that you as an albanian are our representative in cyper space. We couldn't have done this without you. What's amazing about you is that you know everything before it actually happens. You think Vojvodina would be able to ask for more autonomy without the Serbs being invulved? Or do you think that the 9 percent hungarian population is running Vojvodina? Some of the comments from albanians on this forum are just out of this world that one can't help to wonder what kind of drugs you're on.

This U.S. analyst also believes that the appraisal that the Serbs are the chief factor of instability is "unjustified", since Muslim leader Haris Silajdžić, "just as [RS Prime Minister Milorad] Dodik" fairly influenced the polarization in the past few years, "while some Croat politicians advocate a third entity".

He said it himself! The three peoples in Bosnia all want to be masters in their own house. Yet what's truly amazing is that the Americans and the EU are forcing people who don't like eachother to live together. Then when they start fighting again they act surprised and wonder why and how? America has not made peace anywhere in the world and they will not be successful in the Balkans either.

I agree, it's premature, but not for autonomy. Europe will eventually recognize them though, even Tadic said Vojvodina has a "European character" and probably doesn't want to be told Serbia's leader what to do.

Alban - You might be right. They will probably follow northern Kosovo's example if Kosovo attains independence legally. If Vojvodina and Kosovo are allowed to secede then so is northern Kosovo. That new road you are building to the coast will have been a waste of time and money then, hehehehe.

You can start with a new Dayton in Kosovo - no one wants to admit it, but it's already partitioned de facto, and if Pristina wants to get into the EU and the UN, they're going to have to negotiate away their hubris.

MikeC - isn't that stating the obvious! The "state" of Kosovo is world reknowned for it's drug production and is the world hub for international trade in narcotics. Drugs to Kosovo are what tulips are to the dutch, champagne to france and bull fighting to spain.
