I guess, Jeremic holds the national record of sleeping in ***** hotels. And all he has to do for this, is writing PR articles after buffets and dinners.

In the meantime the EU has discovered Eastern Europe, which has become priority until 2013. Even Belarus is included ... and Jeremic is at Bosporus, writing another PR text ...

I suggest you get a map and have a real good look. Serbia has an area of 88 361 km2 while Albania covers 28,748 km2. You can not include Kosovo since it's neither independent in the right sense nor part your dream of "Greater Albania". In that case why don't you add Republica Srpska to Seribas size? Those two are practicly one country. Unfotunately for you there are more countries against the policies of the Americans then the Russians. If not, how come 75% of the world have still to recognize Kosovo?
So you are saying only NATO should have a say in the Balkans? What gives them the exclusive right to be there and no one else? America has not been a factor for peace anywhere in the world. You invite the Americans and we'll ask the Russians to come.
You want peace? Then give back what you have taken from the Seriban people. You want peace? Then stop burning and mistreating the remaining Serbs in Kosovo.

Alban,

Kosovo will become more and more an economic liability to the US and the EU because it will never be able to sustain itself. It has nothing to export and the crime rate will never decrease. Don't forget, the crime rate in Kosovo is unrelated to poverty, as you well know. The West will find other places in eastern Europe to build Bondsteel style bases to counter any threats from Russia. The Albanians have been given a chance, but those in Kosovo will not capitalize on the opportunity. Once the West withdraws financial support, the result will be utter failure. Serbia will leave the illegal state to collapse in on itself. At that point, conditions will be so dire that more and more of the population will leave the area for better opportunities elsewhere, allowing Serbia to regain control over time. This may take a generation or two, but believe me, Serbs are more resilient than you think they are. Let's wait and see, but your analysis of Russia is only a small part of the equation, because in the end, it will all come down to financial sustainability.

"We're determined to enhance relations between our two countries, despite our different positions on Kosovo," was the appraisal of the two ministers.

Jeremic will be using the same slogan when the remaining EU countries Greece, Slovakia, Spain and Cyprus recongnise the REALITY of Kosova independence from Serbia.

MikeC,
it's about the Balkans and Europe to stay in peace. Kosova is too small, but so is Serbia. Kosova+Albania is almost as big as Serbia. NATO doesn't like Russia in the Balkans, Turkey wants a say there, US as well, Germany too...and so the game goes. The best allies for Albanians are those that don't like the Russians :-)

Some people seem to think that world politics are all about Kosovo. Yes! A poor crime infested place is the center of the world. Everything in the world should come to a halt because Serbs and Albanians can't get along. Serbs have better relations with the US dispite American support for an independent Kosovo. Kosovo is simply to small to matter on the international stage.

What happened to the turkish ambasador in Belgrade? Is he allowed back in Serbia?

Oh yea he was never expulsed like the Montenegrin and Macedonian one.
