The problem with kosovo is that the serbs that are left in central kosovo should be protected by serbian police and serbian villages in central kosovo close to gracanica have to be connected with gracanica into a Municipality where the serbian police control it,and also you can not have a border in the north of kosovo because there has never been one, does anyone believe that there is a border in the south of kosovo with albania NO i dont think so. they are buliding a highway to link albania and kosovo same should be for the serbs in north i truly believe that there should be open border in north and south and serbs to protect themselves thats the only way they will be able to survive, build new lives and future for themselves. Also if Nato is really going to create a multiethnic kosovo they should go to each families house and take their weapons from them. People that got their electricity cut in kosovo should be able to choose where they want to get their electric power, if they dont want to get electricity from kosovo institions they dont have too.Albanians can not talk about serbian parallel structures because, they had theirs long before 1998, it is clear that you cant have independence when you wont allow the serbs to control their own neighborhoods and other thing majority of albanians have guns and want to clense the serbs out so albanian police for the serbs is evil, not right.

The fact that the EULEX chief would meet with a representative of the Serbian government alone shows that Kosovo is not independent.

I don't see the EULEX chief meeting with Croatia, Albania or Macedonia. I only see him meeting with the government of the territory his mission is taking place on.

Remark the schedule to not meet Jeremic. He probably would've yelled at him.

Just as well Vuk is in Algiers, he would have thrown the book at him.

"de Kermabon said that northern Kosovo needed an interim solution as EULEX could not work there in the same way it did in the south"

sounds sensible. however, it is far from clear what the long-term solution would be. the interim solution will be de facto partition.

“Our mission is to have a united country with an equal order, equal laws and common customs zone,” the EULEX chief said.

Absolutely. And this is why K-Serbs are trying to establish as much fluidity between them and Belgrade as possible. Too bad EULEX and Washington are always busy attempting to disrupt that flow by repositioning it in Pristina.

Felix,

I fully agree. Kosovo is just a Serbian province.

Kosovo can become a state. But only by MUTUAL (!) agreement!

Why is the West breaking international law?

Yes, that country is Serbia and your mission is to operate under UNMIK mandate, according to legal agreements.
