Either Serbs are stupid to believe Western power's deceptive, dishonest, Machiavelian lies, or West is pretty dumb hoping that Serbs will succumb to them. What is your bet ? But back to business.
1.Serbs are not minority in Kosovo.
Albanians are minority in Serbia.
2.Serbs, do not accept anything but total return of Kosovo with "possible" autonomy for Albanians.
3. U.S.A. is militarily overextended and neither U.S.A or Europe are presently
any threat to Serbs. Have military exercises near Kosovo. Bluff, threaten
and back off if necessary
4. Persistently demand reunion with Republika Srpska.
5. Don't ask to join European Union.
Ask what they'll offer and then, perhaps, you will consider joining
6. You can extradite Milosevic, Karadjic, Mladic and every last Serbs Europe will never allow your membership even if you give up Kosovo. Empty promises!
This is how U.S.A. regard Kosovo and Serbian situation. Offers of" peace", "decentralization", "progress for Serbs" "improve serbian lives" etc. are offers to trick you.
Don't give up your positions. You have everything to loose or everything to gain. God bless!

"...Not more no less, no special treatment for Serbs in Kosova, otherwise the Roma, Ashkali etc will want the same treatment..."

I cannot believe Albanians have such courage to, openly and without a moment of hesitation, show their apartheid. Is it really true, Alban, that you Albanians treat Roma, Ashkali, Macedoninas, Montenegrans and other ETHNIC MINORITIES as a second grade citizens?! And that you are not ready to provide them with a special minority rights they enjoy everywhere in the world but in Kosovo?!?!

I must say that I am truly shocked.

Unfortunately alban...special treatment by albanian for any Serb today is death, murder, expulsion, intimidation, deportation, and eradication.

What's the point of all this garbage? Are we not all a bit tired of this back and forth? Isn't PEACE the final goal of all our efforts today and the fortitude to find the will to move forward? French and the Germans were once bitter enemies for Centuries and ground to stand together and live together side by side in peace. now they rule Europe together. The Irish and English have found common. Even Isreal and Germany have a special relationship after millions were killed by the Nazis just 64 years ago, the true standard of Genocide.

Can we imagine the possibilities if a long lasting peace were to be found between Albanians and Serbians? Can we all imagine a peace based on reconciliation and respect for both sides withholding humiliation for either side? Can we imagine Serbian and Albanian children living in peace with opportunities for education, health care, employment, and freedom of worship instead of butchering one another at every opportunity? Instead of marching for the desturction of the other, we walk shoulder to shoulder, defending the rights of our neighbors for freedom, prosperity, and security.

It's going to take a monumental effort from both sides to show the will and demonstrate the humanity and decency capable within all men alike. It's time and we all know it, Serbs and Albanians alike to put our horrific past behind us. I can only hope.

Decentralization was never really an issue and K-Serbs have been trying to push for this since 1999. What IS the issue however is what flag to fly over the municipal buildings: Serbs want to fly the Serbian flag, but Albanians want them to fly the Kosovo flag.

Hats and acronyms - that's what it boils down to. It seems totally fine to Albanians if Serbs are given autonomy if they fly Kosovo's flag, but it suddenly becomes issues of separatism and Swiss-cheese cantonization if loyalty is directed towards Belgrade.

And let it be known that is really applies to enclaves south of the Ibar. The north, as is being slowly realized, is still firmly in Serb control.

The West will not get in between the Serbs and Albanians again. Serbs have started to arrest Albanian terrorists in Presevo without any objections from the intentional community. Besides the Albanios in Presevo are not living under the same horrible living conditions like the Serbs in Kosovo. No electricity, daily threats of violence by the majority Albanian population, the burning down of monasteries and churches etc. Have you heard any being misstreated in Presevo? One more thing: Serbia will not exchange anything with itself. Presevo and Kosovo are both Serbian territories, Kosovo currently ocupied by NATO. 75% of the world has not recognized that banana republic and majority rules.

Great! As long as the fact is recognised that Kosovo is a Serbian province.

So indeed: high autonomy for all within Serbia!

Serbs, Albanians, do we have a deal?

Same rights for Albanians in Presheva Valley!!! Not more nto less, no special treatment for Serbs in Kosova, otherwise the Roma, Ashkali etc will want the same treatment.

This is absurd. Various international officials and Kosovo's [includign Albanians for propaganda reasons] elected officials have talked about this since the arly 2000s.

Nothing has happenend and nothing will. This is propaganda. Given that first such promises came in 2002, and now it's 2009 and theirs no sign o f anything being udnertaken.

The fact that they insist on Serb uinvolvement is absurd. The Serbs have already made their belives on decentralization clear since 2002. They can take the dozen or so proposals and look at them and get the input of collaborators like Trajkovic.

The simple fact is they know the majority representatives of Serbs will not take part so they use it as an excuse to delay decentralizations.

Plus, even if Serbs aren't involved there is nothing blocking decentralization for Turks, Gorani, the various Romani groups, Bosniaks and even Croats in Janjevo.

Fionally the statement “Kosovo is a multi-ethnic state, whose government is determined to help the communities."

Wrong. Kosovo's government only talks of helping them when it's convinient fopr propagandfa purposes.

Also. How exactly is an entity with a 90% Albanian majority multi-ethnic. That is essentially one of the highest mono-ethnic concentrations in Europe.

Decentralization is the good solution for Albanians in Presevo Valley too. We want the same rights for 150 000 Serbs living in North of Kosovo, but in the same time we want the same rights for 100 000 Albanians living in South of Serbia. Lets hope Beograd apply the same rules for their minority better now then when it will be too late and they will “offer” Pressevo something between “more autonomy and less independence” theory they offered Kosovo when it was too late.
It is better you learn from your mistake.

The best thing feith can do is tell those americans to dismantle the biggest american base in europe. Because our southern province is under american occupation. america out of SERBIAN KOSOVO NOW!

Agreed. Decentralisation and partial autonomy from Pristina to Serbs, decentralisation and partial autonomy from Belgrade to Albanians. Simple and fair.

Brilliant, the axis of evil is starting to crumble...ICJ ruling in favour of Serbia, more bribery, corruption and extortion revealed, reversal of recognitions,Albanian terrorists on the march again. Even the most stupid people in the UK and the USA figure out what's really going on and ask the question 'Why is my government supporting these crooks? Why is Thaci nicknamed the Snake?

Could this be the beginning of the end of the U.S/UK backed Albanian land grab?

The truth is not a dream. Dreams can come true. Kosovo je Srbija.
Love, peace and good neighbourly relations.

This is one big, fat lie.
Kosovo is still multi-ethnic, because of Serbian hard struggle to prevail and stay there.
But having in mind latest attempts of Albanian government to ethnically cleanse all Serbs in south Kosovo by cutting off their electricity and water supplies, only territory which remain truly multi-ethnic will be the North Kosovo.
