No progress in border dispute

No progress has been made in the Slovenian-Croatian border dispute, even after yesterday’s meeting between Olli Rehn and the two countries’ representatives.

Dragan,

You seem not to have learned much about history.
I know personally a great number of Dalmatians who were Partisans. Some of them still are alive.

And have you forgotten that Serbian Chetnik forces fought the Partisans (and the Red Army) alongside German occupation forces?

I have a solution.

The entire Istrian peninsula, including the Adriatic coast from Istria stretching all the way to Trieste, should be given back to Italy.
That area was handed to Yugoslavia, and since Croatia lost WWII (and WWI for that matter) they should have no right to that area. The prize was won on the backs of Serbs, it was SERBS who won both wars, Serbs who died for the allies, so Croatia should not be rewarded at all. As for Slovenia, they really didn't do anything of any significance and paid no sacrifice, so their portion should go back to Italy too.

Problem solved!!

Ziveli!!

Here's the solution: Slovenia asks Italy to offer her access to international waters. It's best to make a deal with another EU country and not to blackmail a candidate. Slovenia and Italy can together show example how civilized EU countries act...

Well, I think this one is pretty clear: Croatia is right.

Of course it is not nice for Slovenia to have no direct access to full sea, but that is just the way it is.

Slovenia should not play this so hard. Come on!
