To #20 (Jovan) - see the Wiki. Wiki is not the ultimate source of knowledge, but no one can claim, it is infested with either Albanians or Serb "trolls".

So here is the link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balli_Kombëtar

As they write:

"In 1943, for example, members recruited by the organization participated alongside the Wehrmacht in burning villages in Albania, Greece and in Republic of Macedonia"

This answers your question. They maybe put some resistance as long as it was about occupation of Albania, but once it was about burning villages in Greece and YU, they became nazi collaborators. They did it even in Albania.

Nice nickname, I think. It's like if I would be a Croatian and my nick would be "UUUUUUU" or somewhat like that. Pretty uncool and shows a great degree of "maturity".

@Ataman

You are right by saying that it was made on purpose. They wanted to make a mediatic scene.

But have you ever wondered why?
What does Serbian government gain from this shameful action? C'mon, think harder!

YES: A good reason to stand in front of Serbian voters and to say, they need to talk to Kosovar government in order to get this issue resolved, because of sympathetic feelings for K-Serbs, K-Ministry must be able to go to Kosovo and so on.

What the talks will really handle, that is another story.

But talks are always welcome, even if you have to get an alibi for them.

cheers!

Peggy,

No one is going to get shot trying to cross the border into Kosova. However, every gov't official from Serbia or elsewhere will be required to get written permission, in advance, in order to enter Kosova on gov't business.

Of course if Bogdanovic tries to crash the gate, he will find himself spending the night in a Kosova jail.

The report did not specify which administrative border crossing this incident took place. It must have occured at a crossing other than those in north Kosovo. Actually in north Kosovo, no Albanian minister would dare to go there without heavy military escort.

if so, just once again an Albanian unveiled his true identity.

You are not recognized by the UN so you are not a country. The 2/3 of the world is not going to suddenly go on your side and accept you, especially after this.
Bad times are ahead I think. What are you going to do when the officials just cross. Shoo them? You know where this will lead.

Radoslav

Alban - All the West care about is keeping their lights switched on at night which requires energy, and what do you need to create energy? that's right, fuel. where's all the coal? in the north. The US< EU, etc can find plenty of other minerals dotted all over the earth which is why they only invade countries which have large energy supplies or to secure passage for those supplies, hence the Iraq, Afghanistan invasions. Nobody cares about a sprinkling of minerals in the south, everyone wants the coal.

Come and get it if you can.

BalliKombetar - That's what everyone wants, then it'll be easier to deny Albanains access to Europe - If you believe the EU wants you in, then you're a fool.

EA - only thing it proves is that UNMIK is still in charge, and will continue to be so until the ICJ rules in Serbia's favour. Enjoy it while you can, it won't last long.

Ataman

I am sure, Serbs knew ahead and this is part of certain plans.

The proof: they had no issue to cross the administrative line earlier and had their meeting in Zvecan.
What is the fine difference?

Earlier they crossed at UNMIK gate#1, today most likely at Merdare.

I never ever would even think to cross at Merdare coming IN, only coming OUT for an other reason:

If you travel through gate#1 and have non-Serbian or non-Kosovo plate, you are fine.
If you travel through any other point (excpet from Novi Pazar) - you cross directly into "Albanian" territory and you will be scammed out of 50 Euro. Perhaps not, if your car has US license plates (they maybe not dare or you can send the "insurance" agents far away unpunished) - but other cars are ALL SCAMMED.

Coming from the Gate #1 direction you cross into (scam-free) NORTHERN KOSOVO. That means, de-facto you are on Serbian territory till Kosovska Mitrovica. At KM there is a humble customs checkpoint - but there is no Albanian border guard of any kind. All cars (except maybe the ones with BG or similar) are not paid attention to. I am sure, a car with "BG" is also fine with a 5 or 10 Euro bill MADE VISIBLE in the windshield.

So indeed - if these MP-s would really want to have a meeting in, say, Prizren - they would have no problem to accomplish it just crossing at "Gate #1".

This time - I suspect - they WANTED to make a little scene. And succeed 100%.
Next time the brain surgeons at KPS should think... think... and think (if they can, of course). Maybe it's ON PURPOSE?

Anyway, if it was on purpose (I have little doubts about it) - mission accomplished.

And for the future Kosovo travelers who have no mood to pay 50 Euro to some talking pigeons and snakes for no reason: coming in just cross at Gate#1. Going out any crossing is fine.

That 50 Euro is the reason Kosovo drivers cannot drive to Serbia. Kosovo is not in "Green Card" agreement and they rather prefer to mooch foreigners (i.e. non-Serbs, non-Montenegrins, non-FYROMians, non-Albanians) out of 50 Euro "borderline insurance" than to let their own people drive to Serbia Proper without problems. What this "Kosovo borderline insurance" is worth, make your guess.

I can't wait for UNMIK to leave. When they do, Northern Kosovo can also declare independence from "Republic of Kosova". No doubt the Albanians will be declaring this null and void but you'll also be paying your dues when the border posts go up there as well. I'd love to see how Thaci, Haradinaj and whoever else the Albanians want to put in charge, try to "take control" of the north. I really want to see the new KSF try to exert their authority.

The piggy bank of Kosovo is in the north, without it Kosovo has no future. Unfortunately it is and always will be under Serbian control.

unfortunately you albanians seem to think that the West will continue to support you financially forever. At some point they expect you to pay for yourselves and then pay them for your debt.

This move by the Interior Ministry of Kosovo, I think is in Serbia's interest. This is a wake up call to the delusions that Serbian MPs have had or wanted to have for a while now. I’m sure that Serbian population already knows that Kosovo is not in their hands anymore but their politicians need to wake up to this reality as well.
In my opinion, this move is good for the region stability as well, in what context you ask? Well, it will stop provocations to Kosovar (Albanians and other minorities), which at a point on time, it could spill to violence.
I also suggest that Mr. Tadic take Thaci’s invitation and end this chapter. It’s not Tadic’s fault for losing Kosovo anyways. So let’s accept reality, let’s apologize for crimes against civilians complete with punishing those you committed these crimes and start and new chapter to the EU and NATO integration.
Only then Balkan states will have a bright future with great prosperity, where boarders mean nothing and money/business means everything.

The title is funny. The second (the province part) part of the title contradicts the first part (the NOT BEEN ALLOWED part).
If Kosovo is a province they would have entered without asking now wouldn’t they.
If your intentions are genuine and you obey our laws you are welcomed.
Otherwise look at Kosovo from the other side of the border.

Haha! The "Ministry of Kosovo" people can't even get in Kosova!

I am afraid this is just the begining, the Serbian goverment I think by now shall start to understand that interference to the Kosovar goverment politics shall start to slowly back down. The only solution is talk, talk, and talk. The present policy of Belgrade goverment and Kosovar Serbs under the influence of the first mentioned is only deteriorating the relationships between the ethnic groups. That has and will stop slowly. There are no winners and losers, political situation in Serbia was not created by the Tadic's goverment but by its predocessors, and I do sympathise with the Tadic's Goverment as he is left to pick up the pieces and try to bring Serbia in EUrope.

In modern day Europe its citizen's are not much concerned under wich flag they belong, their concerns are in the 'standards of living'. Electricity at the moment it is a problem, but sign the KEK contract and move with your lives, let the politicians keep battling with their wits. As thats what they are paid to do.

That is not an administrative line, that is the border. The border between The Republic of Kosova and The Republic of Serbia. You don't cross the border wothout paying dues and respect.
Now, I'm sure the Serbian Camp will persecute and abuse me for the statement above but the truth is the truth, and the facts are a stubborn thing they never seem to go away. And that's the way it is.
Long live the Free Kosovar nation.

"Failed to meet the requirements of UNMIK's 2005 decision on procedures of entry and stay in Kosovo."

Ahh the spin. Every other agency is reporting that the order came from the Ministry of the Interior of Kosova. Reality check for the Serbs in Serbia.

The report did not specify which administrative border crossing this incident took place. It must have occured at a crossing other than those in north Kosovo. Actually in north Kosovo, no Albanian minister would dare to go there without heavy military escort.

>> "I'd love to see how Thaci, Haradinaj and whoever else the Albanians want to put in charge, try to "take control" of the north. I really want to see the new KSF try to exert their authority."

By then even Kostunica will abandon them and NATO is not leaving, NATO countries are all around. If Serbia hopes to ever join EU or get a penny in aid, they will do what EU wants them to do. What would Serbia do if Presheva declared independence?

>> "The piggy bank of Kosovo is in the north, without it Kosovo has no future."

WRONG. 85% of the minerals are south, only junk machinery and 15% of the minerals is in the North.

is it true that BaliKombetar, how one of our dear albanian friends chose to call himself...

was a fascist-nazi-organisation that supported the NAZI´s in WW II?

if so, just once again an Albanian unveiled his true identity.

bravo!

“I can't wait for UNMIK to leave. When they do, Northern Kosovo can also declare independence from "Republic of Kosova".”

Nope. NATO is all over the territory of Kosovo, including the territory northo of the Ibar River. And NATO won’t leave. And the US Democrats support Kosovo as much as the US Republicans do…

@Ataman

But talks are always welcome, even if you have to get an alibi for them.

cheers!
