Comparing with Eastern EUs who demanded E198 Bln to escape catastrophy Serbia is in a much better position. All thanks to not being a EU member. I wonder why don't Tadic asks money from EU ? Is it because IMF hides it's political demands while EU tells them straight ?

Anyway Serbia can also rely upon the Russian reserves which only in hard currency ( if there's one ) still exeed USD 600 bln. The sooner Boris gets that the sun is rising in the East the better for Serbia.

Amantia, if what you say is true, (which of course it isn't) then Serbia's economy nose-dived in 1999 and then not recovered at all due to the NATO occupation of Kosovo and the loss of its revenue to Serbia? Of course Serbia's GDP did nose dive but that was due to the NATO's attack and then has recovered swiftly.

Serbia's (without Kosovo) GDP per capita is about 3.5 to 4 times that of Kosovo's.

The current Serbian government is stupid on economic and financial issues. They sold/privatized Serbian businesses and enterprises for below cost. Then they fired people and started importing more instead of exporting. They did not increase jobs, but instead lost jobs.
Yet the people keep voting them in again and again.

Amantia, I laughed so hard I almost split my sides.

No offense, but of all the reasons why Serbs believe Kosovo should remain in Serbia, the Kosovo economy is not one of them!

Whatever, I hope that people in Kosovo are not too badly affected by this world recession, but we will all suffer. Any other thinking is just daydreaming.

Without Kosova, serbia is bunkrupt.. can serbia make ends meet this month?

as you can see your 'life support' or Kosova is cut off from serbia, and serbia is collapsing, no more Kosova forced to bail out serbs.
