When I look on B92 I expect to read something more than the news in the local newspapers here in Holland. Instead B92 has exactly the same facts and adds only a few completely predictable opinions.

Some of the facts that I miss: I didn't know that there were still court procedings going. Was this an appeal, a request for revision, something else? Ejupi seems to be an ordinary man without much means. Who is paying his lawyers? Who are his lawyers: cheap locals or expensive internationals? Since when have these EULEX judges been looking at the case? Who are those judges (nationality)? What is exactly the available evidence (the cigaret butt, was there also a confession)? Were there prior opinions that the evidence was not enough? What are the exact arguments of the judges? What does the prosecutor in Kosovo say?

"Tadic reminds me of a woman who stays in a abusive relationship, he is being slapped, kicked and spit on by the EU and he continues to serve them faithfully!"

This is an excellent analogy. I would just add that the reason for it is not because the woman (Tadic, Or Serbia for that matter) does not have a choice, rather it is because of false belief that things will somehow be different in the future. If I can just hang on for just a little while....

The sad truth is that if the current financial crisis persists, the future of EU is doomed. Sonner or later, Germans will not care if their policicies will affect POles or Bulgarians, and vice versa. Before you know it we will be back to good old Europe.

BTW, for those who did not listen to recent news, one of the countries that scores of young Serbian people would have liked to have lived, Iceland, is officially bankrupt!

Bottom line here is that EU needs Serbia more than Serbia needs EU. As soon as Serbs realize that, they will enter the EU with no preconditions.

Actually the Hague has failed to arrest this man named Dacic.
Kosova should issue an arrest warrant against this dacic for crimes in 1998-99.

Perhaps because not only a lack of evidence, there is probably no evidence at all.

So Tadic has support of the youth. They will grow up one day soon and then he will not enjoy their support any more.

Everyone grown up eventually. In this misguided youth of Serbia growing up will be much faster. I say make them all serve the army and send them to the dividing line between Kosovo and Serbia.

"Why does the Serbian government even bother to cooperate with the EU?"

The reason is because Tadic and company have 90% of the support from the 18 to 23 year old voter in Serbia, and there is a lot of them! These young voters are largely self interest serving individuals who some how feel getting into the EU will make their lives better, the key word here is "their lives" these people care little about the overall picture for Serbia, and have little or no respect for their country and have no self dignity! If you ask these young people who there parents voted for, the answer won't be Tadic and company.

The sad thing is these young people are destined for disappointment, either their dream will come true and Serbia will enter the EU and nothing will change in these young people's lives, in fact their lives might get even worse, or Serbia will never enter the EU and again nothing will change in these people's lives.

These people are too young to have been involved or effected directly or indirectly by the wars, even the NATO bombings for some, there memory of that event is at best foggy.

Obama won in the USA because of the 18 to 23 year old vote, as did Tadic, but Tadic is NO Obama, that is for certain!

Taid reminds me of a woman who stays in a abusive relationship, he is being slapped, kicked and spit on by the EU and he continues to serve them faithfully!

It is time for Tadic to get some self-worth, courage and confidence and start severing his country and not the interests of the EU.

Why does the Serbian government even bother to cooperate with the EU? Why aren't Serbs in Serbia pressuring their government against cooperating with terrorist-coddlers?

Releasing war criminals is something that is part of 'European Values'. I mean, they already released Nasir Oric and Ramush Haradinaj, who are the worst kind of war criminals. This does not surprise me one bit.

I think we should acquitt all Serbian soldiers accused of war crimes on the Albanians.
They were regularly soldiers and cannot be compared to Albanian war criminals and terrorists.

"By acquitting Florim Ejupi, the EULEX Court expressed unbelievable speed in reversing the original sentence by UNMIK's court,” Stević told Tanjug."

Sentence by Unmik because of Serbia's perception rules on Serbia's instructions. So we are not talking about international law but law that suits Serbia.
