Dragan,
Everybody has a right to their own opinion, but your comments sound like you're representing your entire nation...
As you may be aware, the majority of Serbians are in favor of joining the EU. A prerequisite for that, although not official, is NATO membership.
I don't necessarily agree with this path, but if the only other option is to hold hands with the Russians then I would obviously go with the lesser evil.
The segment in which the Serbian gov't did decide to hold hands with the Russians seems to be getting off to a bumpy start: 'Dinkić told journalists regarding the statement from NIS that the company lost RSD 3bn last year, that he "personally thinks" this was an effort by the new owners to try and avoid paying dividends to the state.'

All Balkan countries should join NATO.

Kosovo is a province, so it cannot join. Otherwise South Ossetia and Abkhazia could also apply for membership :)

You serbs dont like NATO and dont like to be part of it because they bombed you. We the albanians do not like Serbia and do not like to be part of Serbia because of the horrible things you have done to us.
I hope that by comparing this, you understand our view and accept the reality that Kosova is Independent and not part of Serbia..

I really hope that Tadic comes out and admits that the DS wants Serbia to join NATO. It would only speed the pace of the government's downfall.

This Topolanek minion is reading a speach that was prepared for him by his colonial masters. Pathetic.

Serbia will never, ever, join this alliance of war criminals. We remember very well what NATO did to Serbia, and still continues to try to steal 15% of our sovereign land - albeit unsuccessfully thanks to Russia and Vladimir Putin (the greatest Russian leader since Peter the Great).

No, Topolanek, you see Serbia is a proud nation and will not be servants and slaves to NATO like you and many others. You can send your tax dollars to the US military industry to keep them rich, while neglecting your own population and not spending on education, infrastructure, and health care, which you should be doing. Serbia will keep producing its own weapons, spend its tax revenue to keep Serbia prosperous, and stay out of this immoral alliance. In short, Serbia will remain free and independent and be an example for the rest of Europe and the world, even if we are surrounded by this completely unnecessary military alliance (whose sole purpose is to keep arms industry rich at the expense of poor nations).
Cheers!
