“France is on Serbia’s side”

Serbs should remember how those same French soldiers in Kosovo acted friendly towards Serbs but then turned on them later. Those same soldiers didn't protect Serbs during the March 2004 riots and became cold and distant to the Serbs, including the Serb children, that they had pretended to like.

Even though France wants us to think that they are indeed Serbia's "close friend", they have not shown ANY real friendship towards us. I'm so tired of reading all of these EU countries and the US who are such good friends with us, and yet do absolutely nothing to respect Serbia. Kouchner should be at the Hague for his alleged involvement in the organ transplant selling scheme- yet they are such good friends. Historically, France and Serbia have always had close ties...and yet the French accept the unlawful dismemberment of Serbia's southern province and the criminals who run it. Some friends. Talk is cheap.....and insulting!!!

Oh yes, Sarkozy and Kouchner etc... a very trustworthy, sane, balanced government - not at all led by giant egos!

I would take everything that all pro UDI Europeans say with a pinch of salt. Just wait until things are actually signed and delivered before you believe any of them.

As for Kouchon - he couldn't even bring himself to make his own statement! Probably too busy writing poems about lerve...

no, france is part of the short-time occupiers of parts of kosovo and metohija.

all serbs with a brain know on which side france is.

that france has the same political weight like germany or puerto rico cannot be an excuse.

Not sure how this makes France Serbia's friend anymore than Holland or Germany ie we will support you if you give up your territory and arrest Mladic.
Where is the friendship there?

2) No question, I would rather trust an Albanian than a Frenchman. Albanians are MUCH more reliable and faithful as friends than French.

Serbia doesn't need friends like France. Kouchner especially is well known for his honesty throughout the World. Just keep your hands and mouths away from Serbia, and maybe we can become friends one day. Apply your sleazy human rights, democracy and other great inventions to Paris suburbs.

With an ally like this you don't need no enemy!

I don't think they really care about Serbia's ability to catch Mladic, he might be even out of the country. The only reason they push so hard on it is that they want to initiate the trade with Serbia on Kosovo independence, and they want Serbia to make first move, like: O.K., we can not catch Mladic, but we want to be in EU, so we give up on Kosovo, let us in.

Just remeber what Gen. Patton wrote of the French in WW2 “I would rather have a German division in front of me than a French one behind me.”

France can show support to Serbia in extraditing Mr.Kouchner to serbian prosecutors.

that´s all they can do for Serbia at the moment.

everything else is only welcome after reaffirming serbian souvereignty over southern-serbian territory.

the french shouldn´t fool themselves. there will be no partnership without the respect of international law.
