Because the hatred was directed elsewhere? Because attacking them would attack the west?

Is that the reasons?
(Andy, 11 March 2009 02:08)

No Andy Roman Catholic churches in Kosova are Albanian catholic churches- hence you don’t destroy your own temples.

It is ethnic not religious matter. The religion is used by Serbs to manipulate you and others in the west.

We Albanians are much more coherent we never use the religion as political tool- as a matter a fact:

1. Kosova is still not recognised by the Muslim world but almost exclusively Christian and;

2. Catholic churches in Kosova are still there as well as hundreds of Serbian churches

hope this answers your question

Can anyone tell me why the Roman Catholic Churches weren't touched in Rep. of Kosova?
(Ilir, 10 March 2009 23:29)

I guess, because 100% of Roman Catholics are Albanians in Kosovo. But you gave a great explanation and it's a sign of the great tolerance.

Can anyone tell me, why the pretty much the first sight you see after crossing the border between Tompa (Hungary) and Kelebija (Serbia) by car is a Mosque? I know, it's pretty dangerous to live in Serbia as Albanian. There is not a single Albanian living in Belgrade, none is in Kelebija.

I know, that's because local Hungarians are overwhelmingly moslems and there is absolutely no Kosovo-Albanian bakery / car repair facility / etc. in Kelebija. Serbs do not tolerate Albanians there, but if you are a moslem Hungarian, you can even marry into a Serbian family (or they marry into yours). No wonder, inshallah, most Hungarians are moslems.

And all "Pekara" shops in Kelebija are owned by Sioux families.

Rebuilding Churches is best way to give the finger to religious hatred and the best way of encouraging Serbs to return to they holy land of KOSMET.

You are correct, Ben. I looked up and indeed, not just Banja Luka but even most people who live in Moscow, Los Angeles and Buenos Aires are Albanians. Not to mention China. No wonder, even Bangkok is full of Albanian mosques.

That's why Thailand is so popular - these evil Serbs simply run out of Albanian mosques they can destroy in Studenica, so, inshallah, there is Albanian Wat Phra Keo

for them to continue their destructive activities.

"five years since the March pogrom in Kosovo, when 35 Serb Orthodox holy sites were destroyed. "

My God progom... what theatre...

you destroyed more than 35 mosques only in Banja Luka district.

you really make me sick with this unproportional shameful theatre politics.

I'm a little confused. The leaders of the Albanian community in the province of Kosovo rightly remember the suffering of the Albanian people in Kosovo during the Nato led war in the nineties, but they don't seem to have any service in remembrance of the pogram of March 2004 and the destruction of 35 holy Kosovan religious sites. I would have thought there should be a day of remembrance for this. Especially as the Albanian leadership persist in claiming they care about everyone living in Kosovo. It could be a good way of showing how multi ethnic they really are. Very confusing. Is there a day of remembrance in Kosovo for this shameful moment in history? I can't seem to find any evidence for one.
