But it is futile to send comments like this one to the general. For a long time he has been on the payslip of the Serbian lobby.

Really!! Can you offer some evidence to support your claim?
It's on the same par as Bosnian Muslims allegations that he raped Muslims girls.

"Thank you" general for completely failing to protect citizens of Sarajevo. Some of the worst atrocities in Sarajevo took place while you were in charge.

General MacKenzie's book is well worth the read.
Now the Bosnian Muslims are accusing him of raping Muslim girls in order to discredit him. Desperation has set in the Bosnian camp.

The more mud they throw at people like MacKenzie, the more they lose credibility. Keep it up Bosnians.
John Pilger has written a few pages in his book "The New Rulers of the World" about the events in Kosovo and Serbia as well. The truth has been out there for a while. It is being discovered slowly but surely.

General Sir Michael Rose has some pretty unflattering things to say about the Bosnian Muslim leadership (notably Ganic, Izetbegovic and General Rasim Delic) in his memoir, "Fighting for Peace" (for any B92 readers too young to remember, he served as UNPROFOR commander from early 1994 to early 1995). British Major Milos Stankovic (aka "Mike Stanley") backs Rose up in his memoir, "Trusted Mole" (to be fair, Stankovic is a Serb, but read his book and you won't find much evidence of bias). Both officers describe a Muslim leadership in many ways every bit as evil as their Serbian counterparts and express frustration over the thoroughly anti-Serb bias of the international media. On the other hand, the Serbs might have to admit to being overmatched in the public relations department (Jovan Zametica, Karadzic's PR guy, conceded as much to Stankovic, as did Ratko Mladic). Let us not forget just how ignorant the rest of the world was (and still is) about ex-Yu -- any side hoping to have a strong chance of coming out on top in any of the three major conflicts that erupted there in the 1990s would have needed a strong public relations strategy from the beginning. When you reads accounts of Milosevic and Mladic showing up drunk/hungover to meetings with international negotiators, or of Karadzic having to be dragged out of bed, hungover, by General Rose at the Geneva peace conference in 1994, you don't exactly get the impression that the Serbs were being led by a good group of guys.

The american propaganda machine was so powerful that ordinary people in the west are not aware of any crimes committed against Serbs.

Thank you General Mackenzie, once again. Here is a man who speaks the truth, which is why he was removed from his position.
I remember reading a part from his book when he described walking around Sarajevo with Ejup Ganic, and Ganic being in civilian clothing, how he didn't feel right wearing a flak jacket while Ganic was unprotected. So Mackenzie took off his flak jacket. After some shells landed in the vicinity, Mackenzie grabbed Ganic and moved to shelter. When he grabbed him, guess what he noticed? Ganic had a flak jacket underneath his suit!
This, my friends, is the kind of person Ejup Ganic is.

I am very proud, as a Canadian and as a Serb, that Canada has produced honest people like Major General Lewis Mackenzie, Scott Taylor, and James Bissett. Keep on telling the truth gentlemen, there are very few honest people in high places in this very corrupt and very immoral world. You are a shining light.
Cheers!!
