Mixed views on EC mediation

Slovenia is in favor of mediation to help resolve the border crisis with Croatia, something that the European Commission expects Croatian support for too.

While Croatia wants to go to court, Slovenia would rather not. Like I said Slovenia has no legal legs to stand on possession is 9/10 of the law. Croatia has overwhelming evidence to its case.
European Commission rapporteur Hannes Swoboda said that Rehn’s mediation proposal leant more towards the Slovenian side. What is new in the unlawful hypocrites EU mafia club. Croatia drop the EU hypocrites they will steal your freedoms and God given rights.

And what about Dubrovnik? That always was a Serbian city, I believe.

Really? It is why Serbian army saw it in its own right to shell the ancient city. An UNESCO World heritage site brutally attacked by Serbia's army. What's up with that!!

How can Croatia discuss international law when their credibility is gone in that respect. They have recognized Kosovo so that will have an impact on this dispute.

It seems to me that Croatia is being very mean in denying Slovenia a small bit of coastline.

Furthermore, I'm not sure that Croatia is entitled to the lengthy coastline it already claims. (This should be re-examined).
There is also a disputed little island near Herzig Novi which really should belong to SCG.

Even if Croatia finishes its accession negotiations in 2009, Croatia's Accession Treaty has to be ratified by the 27 EU Member States. I don't think the ratification process will be finished by 1 January 2011. Therefore, Croatia will probably join the EU in 2012 if the border dispute with Slovenia will be resolved.

What's the BIG deal Croatia? For EU sake it's just a sliver of land, a tiny morceaux and nothing more than a crumb.

This is a one of a kind situation, you must surrender your territory and then the gates to the EU will open.

Can't you find another spot on the Adriatic for Thompson's Rock Concerts.

Really, for the sake of EU unity, you must comply...or else.
