Iseult Henri,

I think that you have never read all the cases Natasa Kandic has opened up for the general attendence of the world. You should only 'google' her name and find that she several times has pointed at the mistreatment and forcefully expulsion of the Serbian population after the NATO ended their airstrikes and the Serbian forces had backed out. Her report about the situation in Orohovac in 1999 is clear enough.
Your position is an unjustified propagandistic tool to serve every nationalistic strive in the Serbian population by harming those persons, who are seeking impartially the objective history of the recent past.

Amazingly good work of Ms. Natasa! Such a capable person, dedicated to bringing to justice those first rate criminals that live a comfortable life somewhere among us. I don't understand all the bias against her - she should be incorporated into that organ-harvesting/trade deal investigations if anybody wants to see any results. I cannot forgive Carla the oversight of Natasa's talents!

When I arrived in Kosovo in 1999 I was told that Natasha Kandic was the only good Serb! Where was Natasha Kandic when Kosovo Polje and the rest of Kosovo was being cleansed of its Serb and Roma populations between 1999 -2004? Where was she when the UCK were waging a war of terror against an innocent civilian population? She was driving around with her pals in Pristina telling people how safe it was. Last year a Canadian friend of mine met some of her proteges in a combi travelling to Kosovo. He was telling them about the difficult life that Serbs face there on a daily basis and he was verbally admonished for doing so by by one of Natasha's lieutenants. He was shouted at and was not allowed to tell the girls the truth about what was happening to the Serbs. These young girls were visiting Pristina to have some discussion with some NGO. They were not even allowed to visit the Serb enclaves. What are you afraid of Natasha? That people will find out what you have been really up to - aiding and abetting the cover up. Kosovo was cleansed on your watch and you are as much to blame as those who did it. Ceda Jovanovic a Serbian intellectual - give me a break! What next? Iseult Ireland.

'It is really amazing how brave you are, when openly say to officials that they are still concealing the war crimes and war criminals, and instead of being criminally prosecuted they are upgraded and awarded.'

Predictor this statement could apply to any former republic or province of Serbia concerning their own criminals, the exception being that in those places they don't have a Kandic or a Biskero. The group gathered around Helsinki in Zagreb for example are essentially only conscience pricked nationalists. In Serbia you get the real deal regarding an opposition at NGO and political level, even if they are not part of government.

If only that was the case elsewhere.

I also have to say that I don't know of any ethnic countries that first prosecute criminals on the basis of belonging to the majority ethnic group of that country. In other words all criminals should be prosecuted in order of evidence gathered. And I strongly disagree with your suggestion that one ethnic group are full of innocent victims. No ethnic group owns the rights on victimhood. Further if the Hague had done is job properly in prosecuting Haradinaj and Oric (and perhaps you know my opinion is not political, just based on honest belief having followed those cases) then you might see less political points made by Serbia on these types of issues.

For example the charges against Ganic attacking the convoy exiting army base in Bosnia are true (again I have read extensively on this). That case deserves to be tried. If Bosnian authorities had brought this to trial then Serbia would not have moved on this matter.

Really what is Serbia supposed to do? I know the reason you hold your position is because you don't really care about Serbia, but perhaps you could step into our shoes for a moment to propose some alternative.

Are we to ignore crimes because the suspects are from ethnic minorities?

All war criminals should be brought to justice, but then we wouldn't have anybody to lead NATO and most of EU. What about Clinton, Bush, Thaci??? More Western Awards of prestige for them??? Maybe a Nobel Prize soon?

Your attempt to invalidate the findings based on who founds the NGOs it's not really valid for reasons that are too long to explain here.

However there is a large number of eminent Serbian intellectuals, like Nataša Kandić, who have spoken at one point in time against Serbia's policy towards Kosova.

Here are a few of them.
Ivan Duric,
Čedomir Jovanović,
Latinka Perović,
Lazar Stojanović,
Sonja Biserko,
Srđa Popović,
Vesna Pešić,
Andrej Nosov...

Surprise, surprise. This NGO which is funded by the US, by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) to be exact, is blaming yet more Serbs for 'war crimes' because they defended their sovereign soil from KLA terrorists and NATO aggression. Have a read:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Endowment_for_Democracy
'According to Allen Weinstein, one of the founders of NED, "A lot of what we [NED] do today was done covertly 25 years ago by the CIA" (Blum, Rogue State: A Guide to the World's Only Superpower, 2000, p. 180).'

Draw your own conclusions my friends, but you can see what the purpose of this 'Humantiarian Law Fund' really is, and who is behind it.

I have no comment on all this.

That tells enough on the “rule of law” in Serbia.
On the other hand, Serbian prosecutors are doing utmost to raise the charges for alleged crimes against Serb population in Kosova, which is, nothing else but a pure lie and imagination.
I would recommend that Serbian prosecutors to deal with their own criminals at first instead of wasting their time with innocent victims such are Albanians.
