More peackeeping, closer NATO ties

Sutanovac wants to make friends with NATO. They have not even apologized to Serbia, let alone pay for all the damage they have done, and today recognize a fake, illegal and immoral NATO state on Serbia's sovereign soil.
Pathetic. Have some pride and quite grovelling.

"It’s unnatural that the United Kingdom and Germany developed relations with each other after World War II more quickly than we have managed to develop relations with NATO,” according to the minister.

Sorry Minister but this is a pathetic analogy. The US was intent on rebuilding Germany as a buffer against the USSR whether the UK liked it or not.

After all the atrocities that NATO perpetrated in Serbia in the 90s (and noughties in KiM), I find it mindboggling that a Serbian politician could even contemplate selling his country's soul to an evil International Organisation such as NATO.
What do you hope to gain from such a move? I regard it as a kick in the teeth to Russia, a nation that was always helpful to Serbia.

As for Peacekeeping, Serbia can do this very well as a neutral State. My counrty is not in NATO but our soldiers have been involved for over half a century in peacekeeping activities Worldwide.

NATO US and €U is bogged down and soon dead like mr.Creosote (Serbia will be their mint cake) because of hubris and over-ingestion.

Closer ties with NATO is exactly what Serbia needs and I hope we join it as soon as possible. The Minister made an excellent point in regard to the inability of Serbia to heal old wounds and move on.

There are too many in Serbia that have this belief that somehow we are born the natural enemies of the west and the natural friends of the russians. That belief is one of the biggest factors that keeps Serbia underdeveloped today and has resulted in past politicians making enemies of countries that should be our friends.

Time to move and go forwards.

Closer NATO ties????? So Serbian boys can go die in the mountains of Afghanistan/Pakistan. No way Sutanovac- NATO has its new allies- The K-ALbanians. Let them go and die for the Oval office since they love it so much.

There is alot of truth to what he is saying however public opinion in Serbia is not on his side. It would be a strategic threat to Serbia to not joint this alliance from hell because her neighbours are already in the process and be at a severe strategic disadvantage and/or threat not to join.

What is up with this Serbian government? What NATO could not acheived from a 78 day bombingcampaign they have acheived by paying of the current Serbian government, namely occupying Serbia. What's next for this Serbian government? Recognizing an etnicly clensed Kosovo? Serbia should never join NATO! Have these politicians no shame? NATO killed thousands of Serbs and are trying to take away our holy land of Kosovo and Metohija and now we are suppose to join them? Serbs will eventually join Europe and perhaps NATO, but at the same time loose their souls. Sometimes I think Serbs themselves are their own worst enemy.

People who think like this person above is why Kosovo has not been recognized by other countries because of the narrow minded thinkers. Let the past stay in the past keeping living in the past and Serbia will be a memeber of NATO and the EU and Kosovo will be still living in the Dark Ages and yes if NATO decides to deploy Serb Peace keepers to Kosovo then what will you do Attack NATO? Give me a break please. You Ask for the EULEX and now people who committed crimes are now going to jail, this is march so i guess the protest will start soon.
