comment no.24:

while Serbia is increasing economical and political ties with important global players like Russia, India, Brasil, China and many others... the US are just experiencing their economical pearl harbor...

and you are talking about the US feeding Serbia? ...you should wake up, really.

as for "not biting the hand that is feeding you" ... go and tell that to the K-albanians, who are heavily dependent on the US... withouth them, everything will crush and fall into pieces.

and it is quite probable, that they will think it over, once they realize that the k-albanians do not contribute as planned...

let´s just see what future brings.

Attempts to insult and degrade Hillary by Serb propagandists is rather hypocritical since it is only the U.S., with Hillary's recommendation, that can offer financial help to Serbia.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

I am an American, born, raised, and living in the USA. Hey Hillary, Wake Up. Why do you give the gangsters of Kosovo the royal treatment? What good does your meeting do for the non Albanian people of Kosovo? You cannot talk with just one group of people and say the hell with the other group.

Ahtisarri bragged about 60% of the worlds wealthiest nations supporting the still-born Kosovo project - obviously he wasn't affected by this deep recession that has eaten away over 80% of the value of economic and financial of these so-called glorious nations. This chapter doesn't end until the fat lady sings.

Oh Billary

It is with much joy that I watch "representatives" from two failed "states" offer so much support for each other.

I hope that it speeds up that journey to the bottomless pit you are both headed to.

I know it must be of some comfort to you but your citizens will soon start thinking and acting otherwise.

"When was the last time that a Serbian President and/or PM was invited to White House,State Dept. and Pentagon?
(Rudolf Krasniqi, 27 February 2009 09:51)"

It's not like any Serbian officials attended Obama's prayer breakfast:

It is curious that you are more interested in the white house, state department and pentagon handouts rather than whether you leaders are providing jobs and pensions.

Was she being "shot" at in Kosovo as in B&H as she lied during her Presidential Campaign. Maybe whe was wearing a bullet proof vest?

So does a pragmatic Obama administration cut a deal; Russia withdraws recognition of Abchazia and Ossetia and the US withdraws recognition of Kosovo? Got a felling the Americans will go for it before the Russians who are unfortunately more concerned with NATO expansion and the missile shield.

Since now on K-people cannot afford US economical aid cause Mr.& Mrs. William Clinton won't be able to explain it to the local parliament and the folks. So the only real assistance K-people can expect is US moral support & best regards.

More or less same things will soon start to happen in EU where the US grip is weakening. Thus Belgrade is the only side to improve the Kosovo deadlock. Close neighbour has always been better than a far away relative.

Support for Kosovo by the West means one thing for the future of our planet and one thing only: more destruction, confusion and yes, many, many, more conflicts and wars, which is exactly just the way they like it, and want it, and because that's the only way that the evil and capitalism can thrive. Everything that is/was happening around the world was going according to their plan, and then came along Putin with that big wrench...

Mike

pre 15 godina

I wouldn't get your hopes up. "US support for Kosovo" is simply because Washington appreciates the loyalty of client states, like all Great Powers appreciate the support from dependencies and protectorates. I'm sure Washington will continue to voice symbolic support for Kosovo and work to ensure a pro-American government in Pristina, but that's about it. I know Albanians bristle when they are told America doesn't really stand with them but the fact of the matter is that the vast majority of Americans neither stand with them or against them. The vast majority of Americans don't even know who they are, and aren't really interested in finding out. Kosovo rarely if ever makes the news here, and even in larger, more important, states like Iraq and Afghanistan, American sentiment is wondering why so much money goes to "those people" while the same can't be spent on "our people" here.

US support for Kosovo has about as much weight as Russian support for Abkhazia.

'Thaci expressed thanks for the U.S.'s support, emphasizing that Kosovo is “a country for all its citizens with established minority rights,” and said he expected Kosovo to quickly become a member of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.'

Yeah, that is why Serbs have to live behind barbed wire in ghettos, and need military escorts to go to the market, and are attacked if they are heard speaking Serbian, and 156 Serbian churches were torched, and there is no freedom of movement, where minorities organs are extracted and sold for profit......
A real multi-ethnic paradise that the German/US 'greater albania' plan has achieved isn't it? If you want to see how a multi-ethnic and tolerant society is supposed to function, please go to any part of Serbia besides the illegally occupied fake NATO state which is present day Kosovo. ALL of Europe could learn from Serbia what tolerance is.

Contemporary USA and Albanians indeed have lots in common in their political behavior: ruthless, immoral, might-is-right 'philosophy'.

Why whole world came to hate America, and why America will fall it is simply all about that behaviour.

During her term as a Secretary of State Hilary Clinton is going to sell out that little bit of credit that she has for being Bill's wife ( relative prosperity during his term that he is prized for-for which he is not to be thanked so much as simply the favorable circumstances).
She will demonstrate she is no better than a regular blood-thirsty corrupted republican. She might ba a 'resiliant' politician but her mind set is from the past. She is just not getting it.

She embodies the process of 'coming to an end' of American dominance.

We wish Hilary to go on and unrestrained fulfill her role(which she will certainly do) in insulting, arm twisting to the weak, offering sticks without carrots, lying ad so on.
The more the better.

The sooner they will fall.

ZK,

Membership in international organizations such as the World Bank and the IMF requires an incredible amount of bureaucratic procedures. However, with the main requirement for membership (independence) having been met, i am optimistic that membership will follow very soon.

Week island states are states nonetheless and Kosova is thankful to receive recognitions from such small countries. In fact, recognition from such states only helps prove our argument for independence as it denies our opposition a number of arguments they have made against independence.

As for the Saudi recognition, i believe it will come soon and even if it doesn’t it still does not affect our right to act as an independent country (such as barring Serbian ministers from visiting Kosova).

Elitism!!! Elitism is the rule of the game, its how it has always worked and that wont change in the need future. By the way, isn’t elitism precisely what Russia means when it says it is protecting its interests in its “near abroad”?

Countries like the Czech Republic, Slovakia etc, owe their prosperity to the Elitists and their economic might. Don’t we all want to join the EU to tap that economic might and live better? Well, if i’m spending my own money to help you develop then you are darn right I want to have a bigger say in how things are run.

As for the crumbling capitalist system, i think that’s just wishful thinking by nostalgic soviet wannabes. If the capitalist system is crumbling then why o why is Serbia trying to join the EU, NATO and the rest of the evil capitalist organizations.

The US can lobby all it wants. There won't be any more recognition any time soon. All the boot licking insignificant mini-states the US has influence have already recognized, there is no one more. What happened to by February another 20 to 30 states will recognize Kosovo, most of whom will be Arab states?
What's worse for Kosovo is there won't be any new hand-outs any time soon either, as every country in the world is firstly concerned about their own financial prosperity before considering welfare for Kosovo.
As every day goes by the Albanians in Kosovo are discovering that they are in a self styled prison called Kosovo, a creation of their own making, they have little prospect in the future and quality of life in present, but hey they tell themselves they are independent for what that is worth!

If Serbia joined the EU, she would have access to the Structural Funds and to the Cohesion Fund. Furthermore, Serbia would have the possibility to join the Schengen Area and to adopt the Euro.

If Serbia would be in the Eurozone she could attract more foreign direct investment.

I have no idea why "Kosova" isn't really in the US clubs call the IMF and World Bank? One year after the illegal dependence declaration and nothing! Problems within it seems?

Also, I think we are running out of weak island states so I'm not sure who else the US can bully into recognition? What happened to the Saudi recognition?

As for the EU, now that is becoming increasingly disjointed as accusations of soviet style dictatorship and elitism are surfacing within. Czech President Vaclav Klaus was applauded recently for mentioning just that. Check http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7905793.stm

And proof of elitism? Just listen to what German MEP Doris Pack has to say in this http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7905790.stm It seems that the only important countries in this world are the US, UK, Germany and France.

The whole "Kosova independence" project is beginning to crumble just like the whole western capitalist system. I don't think the emerging powers - Russia, China, India and Brazil will be too impressed with what is being said. However, it's very good to see the anti-dictatorship voices getting stronger within the EU. That may be its only chance of survival. What British MEP Charles Tannock says in that last video is right on the money.

Attempts to insult and degrade Hillary by Serb propagandists is rather hypocritical since it is only the U.S., with Hillary's recommendation, that can offer financial help to Serbia.

Oh Billary

It is with much joy that I watch "representatives" from two failed "states" offer so much support for each other.

I hope that it speeds up that journey to the bottomless pit you are both headed to.

I know it must be of some comfort to you but your citizens will soon start thinking and acting otherwise.

I am an American, born, raised, and living in the USA. Hey Hillary, Wake Up. Why do you give the gangsters of Kosovo the royal treatment? What good does your meeting do for the non Albanian people of Kosovo? You cannot talk with just one group of people and say the hell with the other group.

comment no.24:

while Serbia is increasing economical and political ties with important global players like Russia, India, Brasil, China and many others... the US are just experiencing their economical pearl harbor...

and you are talking about the US feeding Serbia? ...you should wake up, really.

as for "not biting the hand that is feeding you" ... go and tell that to the K-albanians, who are heavily dependent on the US... withouth them, everything will crush and fall into pieces.

and it is quite probable, that they will think it over, once they realize that the k-albanians do not contribute as planned...

let´s just see what future brings.
