Crisis slows Montenegrin EU ambitions

The EU Czech presidency warned the economic crisis would slow accession of new EU members, and specifically Montenegro’s candidacy.

Oh Nelli,
i really don't believe that Albania will ever join the EU. Currently, these same european countries are preventing Albanians from entering on visas, let alone joining the EU.

Mircea you could be right about that one but I think that Croatia will be EU member as of January 2011. Albania by 2013 and the rest of the Balkans probably by 2015 but that doesn't include Serbia.

Croatia will probably join the EU in 2012. The other Western Balkan countries will have to wait for many years before they can join the EU.

Croatia will probably join the EU in 2012. The other Western Balkan countries will have to wait for many years before they can join the EU.
