Serbia cannot yet expect EU candidacy status, writes Ljubljana daily Delo, following yesterday's meeting of EU foreign ministers.

under which procedure?? The EU Treaties are silent here.
nothing is foreseen under Nice Treaty if a country wants to leave the EU; but nothing prevents an EU member state from leaving either, if such a country wants to of course.
However, if Lisbon is eventually ratified, such a provision/procedure will exist.

Since my first comments on this site i had been very clear that in my opinion Eu is already full up with the countries that are in and with the almost in (Croatia-Iceland )..
I have also stated that could be possible some expulsions...
Finally i see that some press recognize the true statehood of Eu...
