it´s nice to see how some writers here are now, after clearing words by the russian FM, trying to change the tune as if it was "only a headline" and it "had its effect" ...

well, my dear, it had it´s effect, indeed. Mr.Touchy made a fool of himself, publicly.

and some K-albanians here, don´t have to prove that anymore, since it is already well known.

but the really best joke was Mr.Jeremic "running to Lavrov" for help!

as if the virtual (wanna-be) prime minister Touchy had ANY effect on things outside of his little stillborn mafiocracy...

the meeting between the serbian and russian FM´s is of course planned much longer than Mr.Touchy can even think... =)

but, ...as I said it, it hat it´s effect: it made me smile, and many others too.

Furthermore when it comes to recent Thaci's statement regarding Russia's recognition, the truth is that none of K-Albanians didn't believe it either. We saw it for what it was, just a headline and I believe it had the required effect.

Thanks,

Miri, how can you say that?
Have you read Albanian responses to that article at all?
Most of them were saying that Russia will recognize Kosovo. Some were even laughing at Serbia's expense.

I'm glad it was all cleared up for you, but by the looks of some of the comments here some of you are still in denial.

Its ok for people to lie to you because you will look elsewhere and say that others lie as well?

No, that's not what I am saying. In fact I totally agree with you. The civic societies in our countries will always be tested and validated based on how much tolerance it has against the lies of politicians. Also, when I said "you", didn't mean you personally.

"Let’s look at it on the basis of how many people have returned to Kosovo, those who were exiled from their homes."

How can the Serbs return in Kosova when Belgrade is thinking to use them in undermining the Kosova's intitutions? The indicators used by Tadic are malitious and do not help anyone. As soon as Serbia recognises Kosova as independent country things will move faster than Tadic can apprehend...No recognition NO TALKS whatsover with Serbia.

"That is something which is simply unimaginable, impermissible.."
it sure is, everybody knows this. But they don't care.
So Tadic, it is painful but come on man- know who are you dealing with: the bunch of dog-eat-dog network of international governments calling themselves 'democrats'.
Don't you follow the news? USA billionairs and war lords have plundered the world!
Better divide those 4bn US dollars earned with the trade deals with Russia on the bank account of Clintons, Gates, Feith and Sarkozy and some others if you are serious about saving anything of our land.
There is no other way!

If you don't they will abuse you over and over.

With all due respect bganon, your politicians have been lying to you for years now.
As a matter of fact, more they lie, more are they praised as heroes. Look at your own Tadic and Jeremic, how out of touch their speeches are.

Boris Tadic
“The Kosovo administration, the Priština administration,(the Albanians) wants to usurp our centuries-old existence in Kosovo, and our Serbian Orthodox monasteries, and declare it so-called Kosovar cultural heritage,”
Tadić also observed that Serb community representatives in Kosovo were very vulnerable, and warned that they continued to received threats to this day, “unambiguously and practically all the time.”

Asked about Thaci’s recent statement qualifying Kosovo as a “democratic state”, Tadić first pointed out that the level of human rights protection in Kosovo was the lowest possible in Europe.

You are probably right Mr.Tadic but still the level of human rights is much better than when serbia ruled Kosovo.Organize a referendum in Kosovo and ask the people if they would like to go back, living under Serbia.

“Let’s look at it on the basis of how many people have returned to Kosovo, those who were exiled from their homes. Let’s look at it on the basis of those people in Kosovo who have been charged with war crimes,”

Sure Mr.Tadic people returned to their homes. What about the thousands of albanians that lost their lives not simply their homes. When you mention the war crimes the low number of albanians convicted is the best indicator of who were the victims and who were the agresors.

You guys appear to be more concerned with frightening Serbs or Jeremic than with the fact that Thaci's comments had you as their target, not Serbs or Jeremic.

It would be nice for Russia to recognise Kosovo but that is not so necessary at this moment. It is enough if next year when Kosovo would be reconised by majority of UN SC memebers for Russia to be neutral on any voting. This is quite possible when you have in mind that relations USA-Russia are improving.

Many here are taking Thaci's words too literally. It was simply a provocation to test the waters, and also to point out that Russia is the only obstacle in UNSC.
Anyway, it was worthy, just to see the scared face of Jeremic, running to Lavrov.

Tymi

With any new declaration and positioning of that kind, Russia and unfortunately Serbia too, are distancing every day from the real democratic values they pretend to belong. Lavrov can afford to play with any comment and declaration. He belongs to a relativ powerful country and to a regime/government which will survive at least until 2017. Then probably a new October revolution might change the things. But Serbia and I mean Tadic & Co. are in an unclear political situation and can not afford to show any "strength" or to be tough guys, because this do not belong to EU mentality. I wonder the irritation of Lavrov on Thaci´s comments. Thaci didn´t spoke on behalf of Russia, but he only provoced a possible new position of Russia. As for comments very bad situation of Serbs in Kosovo, this will not make Tadic a better guy. He already lost his credibility the same as Kostunica who were considered as the rising stars. The situation in Serbia and Kosovo is bad for all and not only for Serbs in Kosovo. Tadic! Jeremic! Stop playing with bad advertisement on Kosovo-Albanians. Justify your positions as Serbian elite and not as gangsters.

B92, your censors are being heavy handed lately, even innocent comments are not making it through.

As long as there is talk of it, it's good. Russia struck a conciliatory tone with US lately (oil is at $35) so anything is possible. Of course Russia wouldn't announce it when it happens, they send a minister to Serbia to tell them. Wait till the NIS ink is dried first. Russia needs things from US and US needs things from Russia.

>> "Tadić also observed that Serb community representatives in Kosovo were very vulnerable, and warned that they continued to received threats to this day, “unambiguously and practically all the time.” "

Mr Doom! Funny how what he said didn't happen and now he complains that Serbs don;t want to return to a poor country after he told them not to participate in anything with the Kosova Government. How can they make a living that way?

There you have it. A definitive answer to Thaci's claims.

As it so happened Thaci timed his statement badly since Lavrov was meeting with Jeremic it was almost inevitable a statement would be made to the media. And Lavrov in his slightly bombabstic way appeared to enjoy putting Thaci in his place.

I do comletely agree, our government is far more ridiculous than yours. Indeed Mr. Thaci and Skender Hyseni (playing foreign M. at home) are your biggest assets to avoid Kosovo recognitions. Of course Kosovo is far away to be a independent viable country, but there must be no doubt it is forever lost for Serbia. I also would like to say that Mr. Jeremic's obviously anti-Albanian attitude is no advertisemt for a democratic society, so you can consider him a little help for Kosovo-recognitions.

it sure is, everybody knows this.
There is no other way!

miri and that is your reaction is it?

Its ok for people to lie to you because you will look elsewhere and say that others lie as well?

If I'm lied to by politicians do you think I'm the type of laugh it off?

(bganon)

No, that's not what I am saying. In fact I totally agree with you. The civic societies in our countries will always be tested and validated based on how much tolerance it has against the lies of politicians. Also, when I said "you", didn't mean you personally.

Furthermore when it comes to recent Thaci's statement regarding Russia's recognition, the truth is that none of K-Albanians didn't believe it either. We saw it for what it was, just a headline and I believe it had the required effect.

Thanks,

PS: You enjoy my respect on most of your messages. This time I mean you personally.

Thanks,

Miri, how can you say that?
Have you read Albanian responses to that article at all?
Most of them were saying that Russia will recognize Kosovo. Some were even laughing at Serbia's expense.

I'm glad it was all cleared up for you, but by the looks of some of the comments here some of you are still in denial.

it´s nice to see how some writers here are now, after clearing words by the russian FM, trying to change the tune as if it was "only a headline" and it "had its effect" ...

well, my dear, it had it´s effect, indeed.
