Vlad, 60 is more than 55 (I hope I’m right – you see, maths has never been my strong point)?
Does that mean that you are predicting increase in recognitions?
This goes against of what your compatriots are predicting?
Do I sense a rift?
AlsoVlad, the best example of “not with us means against us” doctrine can be found with the Serbian government (think of the ambassador fiasco of the last 12 months).

Red N' Black:

Nice try in being sarcastic, but still you need to practice more... However, I like the way you and your friends are trying to divert the discussion from Kosovo whenever truths are said loudly... it seems that you took seriously the Bush jr. dictum: "not with us, means against us". Be aware, it did him no good.

And yes, maybe some more countries will recognize Kosovo, maybe not; let's wait for the final count, shouldn't we?
My bet: next Christmas=less than 60 countries on Kosovo'side. Deal?

1-""I am glad to see our Albanian friends appreciating the crumbs being thrown at them as it seems that's all they'll be getting.""

Crumbs? USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, Australia, Japan, Italy???!!! u call them crumbs? look, we got the G7 there! 70% of the world's GDP! so long vodka and kung fu! lol

2-""If this recognition is one of the last acts of the government of the Maldive Islands before they sink into the Indian Ocean, well then, God help them.

They certainly have sunk in my estimation with this pathetic effort (albeit under drunkard-like US pressure).

I doubt if 1% of the Maldives' people even know where Kosovo i Metohija actually is on the World Map.

Instead of trying to make amends for past wrongs committed against Kosovo Serbs, the US continues to denigrate and undermine the christians, not only in Kosovo i Metohija, but throughout the Balkans.

All these evil deeds will return to haunt the americans but then again having such a Godless regime, they probably don't care.

Breaking news, Mars recognizes Kosovo. Martian emissary Bligblogblag said "it's about time the whole galaxy recognizes Kosovo's independence." Kosovo Albanians reacted later that evening jubilantly by waving Martian flags high in the streets of Pristina. Sources say the teletubies will recognize Kosovo's UDI soon too.

And when the sea level rises enough to drown out the islands, maybe the entire Maldive population can migrate en masse to "Kosova". It will then be payback time for Pristina.

I've got bad news for those who support the illegal UDI, Czech Republic will withdraw recognition once it gets a new government. The opposition Social Democrats and Communists are ahead in the polls for the elections which will be held this year. These two parties opposed recognition, and once they get into government, then they will reverse the horrendous mistake and betrayal by the current right-wing government and withdraw recognition.

So basically we are trading Czech Republic for Maldives. Serbia wins this deal!

Also, watch out for withdrawal of recognition by Montenegro (elections this year as well), Costa Rica, and Peru when they get new goverments.
(SupportSerbia, 19 February 2009 22:04)

Spot on. Czech Republic will withdraw its recognition once the right-wing Civic Democratic Party is voted out. The Communist Party is riding high in the polls and will be forming part of the next government. One of their conditions is the revoking of the recognition of independence by Prague of Kosovo.

Costa Rica has signalled that it will reverse its decision once the ICJ verdict comes through.

In Peru, the right wing incumbent Alan Garcia is coming under sustained pressure at home due to a faltering economy and rampant corruption. The next elections are due in 2011 and the left wing opposition (UPP) which is allied with the Sandanistas in Nicaragua, Bolivia, Venezuela and Cuba will more than likely withdraw recognition.

What happens in Crna Gora is anyone's guess but if a new government comes in then its good bye that recognition too.

Looks like its bad news for US Imperialist lackeys everywhere.

Deal?
