"...in order to reassure them of the U.S. promise of friendship and support for Kosovo..."

Of course she's not gonna meet up with the families of the missing Serbs, kidnapped and butchered for organs during the bombing of '99 that her husband had ordered.

I can see how in future before Hillary goes to hell some heavy shoe is gonna hit her straight in the face.

"I would suggest you help your country bring all the poles back into Poland, we're all suffering of you."

Poland is improving and 400 000 Poles are moving back to Poland from the UK, just one of several examples, as per the following report:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/financetopics/financialcrisis/3243069/Financial-crisis-A-third-of-Poles-driven-home-by-recession.html

Looks like things are better here than there in the UK for my countrymen over there.

And who is suffering in the EU because of us Poles? You Albanians? Your country is not even in the EU and if anything, it is us Europeans suffering from you Albanians:

Drugs:

http://arirusila.cafebabel.com/en/post/2009/02/10/Whats-up-in-West-Balkans-2009

Violent Crime:

http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/homenews/Albanian-killer-living-Notts/article-665022-detail/article.html

Human Trafficking (even a movie has been made about it):

http://www.christianpost.com/blogs/movie/2009/02/taken-3-stars-disturbing-19/

"You know very well what Poles did in Germany (stealing cars mainly) as well now in UK."

That was the 90's, besides, there were syndicates in which Germans were also involved in, by the way (since German insurance companies gave a new car for every one stolen). In the UK, some are causing minor problems with minor crimes, hardly anything serious.

"All the times you guys are on the newspapers as the biggest problem of EU."

Sorry, when it comes to hardcore crimes like smuggling of weapons, drugs and human trafficking, we all know who takes the cake. Just look at the following site to get an idea about the proportions as well:

http://www.interpol.int/Public/Wanted/Search/Form.asp

Just type in the nationality you want to see who has the most wanted criminals. Here is a nice comparison:

Poland - 18
Albania - 321 (imagine how much it would be if Kosovo was on the list as well).

Poles are no angels, but when an Albanian accuses us of this, it makes me laugh. When we come up in papers, it's usually about drunken, disorderly behaviour and the occasional theft. Hardly smuggling of drugs, weapons and human beings, like others.

"So instead of talking here about the books, please help you country get a better place to live, and eventually I hope those poles spread like a disease all over the EU would come back home. After all, I don't really think that Balkans need Poland to teach them anything."

Some simple economic statistics to prove you wrong:

Poland:

GDP per capita: $17,560
GDP Growth: 7%
Unemployment: 6.5%

Albania

GDP per capita: $5,500
GDP Growth: 5.0%
Unemployment: 30%

Can you imagine Kosovo?

So yes, some Balkan states can learn a thing or two from Poland in terms of economic development and growth. That's why we're in the EU and you are not (unless you are an Albanian born in Germany or elsewhere in Europe who thinks that Poles are causing them problems).

"You call it 'emperial overlord', we call it 'great friendship'. To each his own. Whatever works for our benefit, that's what we Albanians do. If these 'imperial overlords' helped Albanians have a second nation, wonderful. Who's complaining over lingual terms? Call the U.S.-Albanian relationship whatever you wish, but know that Serbs are too proud for their own good, which in turn results in losses.

So Kosovo is a second Albanian nation (Freudian slip, Ahtisaari would be mortified!) .... an "nation" that cannot enter the UN .... and thus always dependent on Western handouts ...... its economic development stifled accordingly .... one which will be forever at the mercy of the whims of the Yankees .... mind you that they betrayed their lackeys before (eg. Vietnam) ..... and your leaders have to pretend to rule over your northern part .... sure, life's just wonderful! Congratulations!

@the voice of reason, after reading your comment, I don't really know anymore the definition of something being reasonable. I have one very short answer to you: When did the last time Serbs in Kosovo payed electricity during these last 10 years?
@Daniel: Will Serbia be able to claim Croatia and Slovenia as it's own part?
So, why you guys are trying to put a bad light on Albanians, wouldn't it be better so that Serbia admits its wrong doings? This way there would be some hope for reconciliation, and the path into EU would have been much shorter, without countries mutually excluding/blocking each other.

@Peter Syduka: Please spare us of your comments, I don't really understand what you're trying to show. I would suggest you help your country bring all the poles back into Poland, we're all suffering of you. You know very well what Poles did in Germany (stealing cars mainly) as well now in UK. When Kosovo's leaders meet with Hillary Clinton in Washington,DC USA, she should interrogate them with many questions about the KLA's human organ smugglings and sellings, the expansion of mosques built over Serbian church ruins and radical Islam being preached throughout Kosovo, the growing KLA Albanian illict drug trade throughout the Balkans, the thousands of Serbs still being held as enemy combatants in ethnic ALbanian Muslim controlled jails in Kosovo, the ethnic beatings of Serbs in Jails in Kosovo, the fate of thousands of missing Serbs in Kosovo, among many other important issues regarding the Serbs and the ethnic Albanian Muslims.

Dear Sergeant

It's nice to see you here again. I'm little confused about the above sentence. Are you refering to Serbs since Milosevic time till nowadays?
If is that I agree with you 100%.I hope they are going to change in future.

the voice of reason

pre 15 godina

It is quite obvious by the statements that they continue to make that they are all high. To say that Kosovo has made any progress in anything other than smuggling drugs, weapons or prostitutes is laughable.

It is the most dependent "independent" state in the world. I don't understand where their pride comes from. If I were from some weak country who can't fight its own wars or even survive without billions of euros in handouts from other countries, I wouldn't have any pride. Even before they were getting international money they were getting free electricity and heating from the Serbian government. It's not as though they have actually done anything of merit. They didn't win any wars or epic battles. They are just a prostitute that went and found a stronger pimp. Once that pimp realizes that Kosovo has nothing to offer, it will be tossed back onto the street without any protection.

In all honesty I think that Serbia should just sever the dying limb that is Kosovo right at the Ibar river and then do everything they can to make life in Kosovo hell.

Good luck to all you Albanians when the world economy tanks and there is no money or will left to support all you weaklings.

And just so you all know, I'm American

Unless your friends are Serbian-American, I have a feeling that statement is not entirely true. You would very hard pressed to find more than a handful of Americans outside of a few college professors or those who majored in Eastern European history that have any knowledge of Serbian history.
Most curriculums in the school systems allocate maybe 1-2 hours of study to E European history over the course of entire 12 year education.
America is less than 300 years old, it is not a historically centered culture, we do not place the same importance on what happened in 836AD, as people in the balkans do. (Date picked at random)

I wouldn't put much stock in that comment. That it's poorly written in the worst English possible is bad enough, but for it to be apparently signed by a Serbian-sounding name, and liberally recommended more times than anything by PRN means that it's worth the effort responding to.

just Curious,

The enemies I referred to are centuries old to all Albanians in the Balkans - That is all Slavs and Greeks surrounding Albanian populated areas. We have been prosecuted, raped, and forced to go into exile.

You cannot tell me different, because I grew up in Kosova and I know how we were treated. No matter which territory we passed through be it Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and even Greece we were looked down with disgust, slured racial comments, confiscated any money etc- that is to say the least. And at worst we were beaten, imprisoned, and even killed by minority in power that acted as they pleased.

Long live Republic of Kosova!

"You mean to say that Albanians are as close to the US as Serbians to Russians? You guys were in self imposed isolation for 50+ years, where was the US to help you there?"

Go back 100 years ago and you'll get your answer.

Even before our 50 years of isolation, American president Woodrow Wilson was the one who saved Albania from being eaten up by Serbs and Greeks.
Thus we were finally able to declare our independence in 1912.

Wilson gave us our first independence, Bush gave us the second one for our second country.

You see, comments like that make it worth while hanging around B92. You mean to say that Albanians are as close to the US as Serbians to Russians? You guys were in self imposed isolation for 50+ years, where was the US to help you there? As they say, isolation breeds ignorance!

My goodness, the Russians have never been our master and we have our eggs with others too. We have always stood shoulder to shoulder with our friends and they have backed us up whenever they could but no-one has ever controlled us although many have tried.

The US is just pulling the Albanians string whenever it suits. By all means, keep your eggs with the US. They are hungry at the moment and I'm pretty sure they will eat them all but fear not, they will write out a treasury bond promising to pay you back in 55 years with interest! You'll just be added to the 15 trillion other eggs they promised to pay back.

Whatever Serbs offer, Kosovo being recognised by 54 states and having relations with all neighbors except Serbia is actually better than not being a state but just a province controlled from Belgrade. You fill in the blanks.

There must be some large concessions and really nice incentives from Belgrade for there to be a change of mind among Kosovars.

just Curious

pre 15 godina

Artan, what enemies are you talking about? Albania is, at best, surrounded by Greece, Montenegro, Kosovo and Italy. It seems odd that you could consider Greece (A NATO, EU, UN member), Italy (A NATO, EU, UN member), Montenegro (A UN and aspiring NATO, EU member), or Kosovo (your own ethnic people) to be enemies.

If however, you me "WE Kosovars" are surrounded by enemies. Then the same can be asked. Kosovo is surrounded by Albania, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro. Albania, again is your own people. Montenegro, again is a Western facing country who happens to have a substantial Albanian based minority, as is Macedonia. Which leaves Serbia. Clearly there is anninmosity between Kosovar/Albanians and Serbians (governmentally speaking atleaset), however 1 out of four neighbouring countries does not make you surrounded by enemies.

Or, are the Kosovars enemies of everyone else?

What's the timetable, o all-knowledgeable one, about how long Kosovo will exist?

I can also claim in a single sentence that the Albanians are about to take over the Presevo Valley, so enjoy it while you can since it'll be overrun by Albanians soon.

Here is my message to albanians who have nothing to say, because they are using same means of brutality against minority Serbs as they once cried a wolf to Uncle Sam, who's plan was to invade Balkans for a long time. Its a shame that Russia can not step in and conquer the fear once again, since the great bear was sleeping in the 90's due to economic depression set forth by the same dark powers who control the wild west and are using america as a test subject of choice in the making of NWO era.

What a load of rubbish, do they expect people to believe this garbage? What this statement should read is:

'The State Department highly appreciates having carte blanche access to Camp Bondsteel, with the ability to do whatever we like, whenever we like, in this NATO state. With us Americans not being very popular in Greece, Italy, and even Turkey, and our military bases being restricted in what we can do there, we are overjoyed that we have found a strategic location where we have absolutely zero resistance from the local populace. In addition, we can use this area for dumping nuclear waste, a testing ground, even a new Guantanamo, and we don't even have to abide by any environmental standards. We could also expand it if we want to, and none of the locals will even blink an eye.'

That would be a truthful statement from Hillary. Thank God the US is bankrupt and can't afford these immoral and illegal military adventures any more. That's called Karma.

Unfortunately, Serbs always knew about daily struggles since the beginning of last millenia (1000 yrs) when numerous agressors and land-grabing tyrants came in its path. But in the same time, virtually all evil regimes met the same fate: expulsion and retreat. My friends, americans DO NOT love albanians, if anything they like Serbs, because they KNOW the real Serbian history. It is this secret government and their international banking cartels who are propping up schemes not just in Kosovo, but ALL OVER the world. And a note to albanians: be careful who you call your masters, cause in history you had many. And not to Serbs: Your sufferring goes a long way, and powerful light forces are observing your every move. Be bold, courageous and united. For dark clouds are glooming all around us, as NO ONE is safe anymore. albanians can pride them selves all they want, they know deep down who they are. When mother Russia thriumps once again, the great white eagle shall take charge once again, and albos (just like in old times) shall have to flee back in the mountains, where their only endorsed savior shall be a goat shepherd.

The Albanians in Kosovo, would do well to try and create a state in Croatia like they did in Serbia. It would be like Jasenovac asap. Serbs accommodated for so long, gave schools, rights, citizenship, for a big stab in the back.

Continues every day...and supported by the US? http://www.b92.net/eng/news/crimes-article.php?yyyy=2009&mm=02&dd=18&nav_id=57234

After reading an other "Serbs to Siberia" within 24 hours I have to finally tell. I have strong impression, at least SOME Albanians here are putting all the trash here on purpose. Their task is simply to be eTrolls. Probably the best is simply to ignore all but few. That level of ignorance combined with primitive nationalism is really depressing.

"Yes, very deep. The typical vassal state paying tribute to its imperial overlord."

You call it 'emperial overlord', we call it 'great friendship'.

"My friends, americans DO NOT love albanians, if anything they like Serbs, because they KNOW the real Serbian history."
Daniel
Unless your friends are Serbian-American, I have a feeling that statement is not entirely true. You would very hard pressed to find more than a handful of Americans outside of a few college professors or those who majored in Eastern European history that have any knowledge of Serbian history.
Most curriculums in the school systems allocate maybe 1-2 hours of study to E European history over the course of entire 12 year education.
America is less than 300 years old, it is not a historically centered culture, we do not place the same importance on what happened in 836AD, as people in the balkans do. (Date picked at random)

Hey, Albanian Kosovars have their chance to meet God. Wow, what a feeling it must be to meet God. I cannot wait to see the pictures of Thaci and that other so dude smiling cheek to cheek when facing God. It's weird, though, God isn't powerful enough to guarantee that Kosovo gets full global recognition. Some God!

Of course it is only natural that Hilary would want to meet up with her 'boys'. The relationship is as deep as their pockets are full.

Dear Sergeant

It's nice to see you here again. I'm little confused about the above sentence. Are you refering to Serbs since Milosevic time till nowadays?
If is that I agree with you 100%.I hope they are going to change in future.

Another Country recognized Kosova today. After this visit more recognitions are due to arrive. And regarding "masters", I think ours is better than yours. Your master Putin, he wins elections with more than 80%. That's so funny..hahha

All the times you guys are on the newspapers as the biggest problem of EU. So instead of talking here about the books, please help you country get a better place to live, and eventually I hope those poles spread like a disease all over the EU would come back home. After all, I don't really think that Balkans need Poland to teach them anything.

Erik from Germany
