Serbia can't enforce 1244, the six point plan, the 30 point plan, or any plan...stop trying to get others to do your own dirty work. You are in shock when others don't do your dirty work, have you ever wondered why? We endured hardships under your leaders and criminals and our main leader (RIP) Dr. Ibrahimi Rugova advocate non-violent actions, because of him the EU and America are so supportive. Serbia pursues illegal tactics such as sponsoring activies in Northern Kosova and continually tries to destabilize it by sending illegal paramilitary troops or spies ---- why would UN/EU want to associate with that?
Was it an Albanian who burned down so many embassies in the middle of Belgrade? Was it Albanians who burned down the borders? Was it Albanians who threw Moltov Cocktails at NATO-KFOR troops? Is it Albanians the ones operating in parallel institutions?

When Serbia stops meddling in the neighbors affairs including Kosova the EU and UN will cooperate more openly with Serbia.

As far as this jeremic speaking with head UN let's see what he will acheieve.

Fatmir Kosova

Since Kosova is not a member of UN and there is no agreement betwen Kosova and UN nothing will come to efect.
Kosova is an independent country supervised by EU.
and USA,so UN and Serbias government can bark all day long nobody will listen to them, they cant bite, just bark.
thank you USA!

Yes Sidi, I don't expect the Albanians to accept the offer but it is the best they will ever get. Even this pretend independence offer will never meet it.

I assume the ghetto you mentioned is Pristina and the men holding the guns are the criminals and terrorists running it. We know they wont be there for much longer so we'll just lay in wait.

Your comments made me chuckle. You know how your argument sounds? Like that white guy walking into a ghetto who is accosted by a gang of black men and has a gun shoved in his face and asked to hand over his wallet. His words are:"Listen you black guys, If you put your gun down and do as I say, I will not report you to the Police...It's a really good offer, take it while it's still on the table". And the black gangsters say "Nah, we'll just have your money".

Comnments 1 - 6 show desperation and a deviation from reality by the Albanians. The US and UK agreed to this so you'll do as you are told.

Imagine for one minute what would happen if you didn't. WORST case scenario is that UNMIK and EULEX would leave Kosovo. What would happen then. Serbian troops and police would come back into Kosovo and the KLA,KSF and any other Ksomething wouldn't be able to stop them.

I have no idea why the Albanians are so obsessed with this plan. It is there mainly to enforce the functional partition and keep the Serbians and Albanians separate, as they are now.

But this plan is just an interim agreement before your dreams of an inpdependent Kosovo are finally put to rest. I can feel the wind and momentum slowly gathering behind the Serbians. Best thing for the Albanians to do now is to negotiate with Belgrade before it's too late.

You will never achieve independence but self-rule is on offer, at this moment. It's a shame most Albanians are too blind to realise a good offer when presented. In fact, the best offer they will ever get.

Enjoy your isolation my dear Albanian friends. The East wind is gathering strength and the world is changing.

great leader he is but his words are not translated to actions on the ground. i feel sorry for this guy as for the K-serbs totally abandoned by the world. i have been to kosovo and comparing the houses of the albanians and the serbs, one can easily see that the latter are the 2nd class citizens of the province. also the public services are well way off in albanian areas than serbian areas because practically no serbs are working in the government offices. in other words no multiethnicity anywhere.

Sidi

At least he keeps a straight face when saying what he says. I wouldn't be able to, knowing that I was blowing bubbles into the air for Serbs to believe in.

Simple Mind

Oh enough with this nonsens any more. Six Point Plan agreed between Authorities in Belgrade and UN can only be applied in Serbia (say Vojvodina, Sandzak, etc). When are Serbian Authorities going to get this, I wonder?! If any plan is to be applied in Kosova(o) then that plan will have to be agreed between Authorities in Prishtina and UN!

You have to admire Jeremic, it must be really difficult to stand before the world and say the UNSC felt if was necessary to drive our forces out of Kosovo and to sever all political and economic ties. 10 years later the UNSC does not feel that this resolution can be lifted and we support them in this decision.

six-pint plan is dead

pre 15 godina

Six-pint plan was used only for marketing and that exclusively in Serbia to allow EULEX to take shape as projected by Ahtisaari.

Kosovo has its constitution, and nothing else can change that.

The TRUTH

pre 15 godina

The six-point plan, which was adopted in the Security Council at the end of November, is meant to enable Kosovo Serbs broader autonomy in the areas of justice, police and customs. It would also enable better protection of cultural and religious heritage and improve transportation and communication.

ReAading the last paragraph as I understand it, the is no where Kosovo within the borders of Serbia. I can understand that you looking to have more autonomy for K-Serba and that is just fine, but they allready enjoy more rights than any other minority in the world.
