U.S. State Department Undersecretary of State William Burns has told Moscow the United States is open to reconfiguring a European missile-defense program.

What makes you think Moscow is in a mood to make any concessions? Seems to me all the olive branches are coming from the US to Russia and the rest of the world.

Well to some it may be a sign of weakness, others see it as the fulfilment of a dream the collapse of the US.
But could it not be the product of a new administration curtailing projects created by an administration that had only a 28% approval rating within the country.
However, there will have to be some deal in the works. What Olive Branch could Russia offer in return, we know it won't involve Georgia--I wonder what is left?

Last week H.Clinton said the US was "rethinking" its missile shield policy whereas
Burns calls it "reconfiguring" it.Another
name for Cancelling it.
The present US administration
will make similar announcements in the future.
It is a pragmatic policy that reflects the economic realities in the country.

Oh no! The balkan muslim super-friend is showing weakness. Face reality. Iran will get the bomb because the super-friend insulted Putin. What will they do then? They can cry?

Obviously the Yankees are looking for a face saving way out of this mess that they initiated. They know better than anyone else that the sorry state of their debts and economy no longer allow them to throw good money away after bad.

The payback Russia will ask will be huge and not just a wipe of the brow and thank you Mr Uncle Sam.

It is time to start thinking about how you will live in Serbia as tax paying citizens ruled by civilised law.
You will also have to think about how you will make up for all the damage you have done to killed and displaced people and culture.
