Kosovo flag will wave in Strasbourg, Brussels, and Luxembourg. Will you ask to remove it?
(Federalist, 12 February 2009 11:33)

It was removed recently at a regional conference in Tirana of all places at the request of the Serbian delegation.

Keep up the good work Vuk. Serbia is winning.

So manipulating the facts and exaggerating events is the new foreign policy of Serbia?

Serbia's propaganda is despicable but having a FM unashamedly lay out plans to manipulate public opinion does not seem so democratic to me. And here you are, questioning Thaci when he recalls how much the same today's Serbia is to Yesterday's Yugoslavia of Milosevic.

Serbia will recognize Kosovo by entering the EU, you cant have both worlds. So please, stop spreading hate.
(Federalist, 12 February 2009 11:33)

Why is protecting your territory hate? Please tell us all how this is possibly hate.

Second, "Kosova" flag will NOT fly anywhere outside "Kosova", not if Greece, Slovakia, Spain or Cyprus have anything to say about that.
It's not only Serbia in Europe who is opposed to "Kosova". You have no chance of entering EU because Serbia will never recognize you, therefore neither will these other countries as well.

UN is even more impossible. Stop dreaming.
All I hear all the time is how "Kosova" will enter EU and eventually UN but I don't hear how you will overcome all those vetos waiting for you.

Sounds like little Vuk's "cunning plan" will consist of a stream of victimology for domestic consumption, ignored outside of Serbia which will nevertheless help reinforce the kind of prejudices that allowed Slobodan Milosevic to hijack Serbian politics, all those years and wasted lives ago.

while Jeremic rehahes the old serbian lines, here's what the decision makers will read on Economist: "NEXT week Kosovo will be one year old. It was the seventh state to emerge from former Yugoslavia. Sceptics predicted dire consequences: the Serb minority would leave, the region would see a new round of violence, Serbia would fall into the hands of extreme nationalists. Happily, none of this has actually happened."

"Serbia has a plan for that, which only requires a little luck and more courage,” he said. "

So is he still thinking about the tanks? It would take more than "little luck" to work though.

In the other article Tadic said that Milosevic regime is not longer in Serbia.

What else would Milosevic had said that Jeremic did not? If Serbia were to exercise just one more time its military over Kosova, anyone thinks that Jeremic or Tadic would oppose it? More hardliner Jeremic behaves, louder is Thaci's voice heard.

Which is the secret plan about Kosovo that "Little Vuk" has in his writing desk ?
May someone over there give some insides or details ?

I'm a little bit surprised with this "reality" presented on these pages. Serbs as victims, Bosnians and Kosovars as alledged war-criminal. A complete contortion of international news. Due to this all attacked Serbia and Kosovo is as Serbian as never before. Serbias foreign secretary is talking as there is no Albanian living in Kosovo. I can remember a guy before him, advocating right this way.

@Smith

I agree with you totally, the status issue has been solved 1244 is still in place and therefore Kosmet is part of Serbia and it will stay for the next 15 bln years.
Thanks for the reminder!

Dear FM,

Kosovo recognition is indeed connected to EU integration. Serbia will have to sit with Kosovo in the European Parliament, in the Commission, in various EU processes and functions.

Will you walk out each time?

Kosovo flag will wave in Strasbourg, Brussels, and Luxembourg. Will you ask to remove it?

Serbia will recognize Kosovo by entering the EU, you cant have both worlds. So please, stop spreading hate.

Does this guy still represents the Serbian intelllectual class?

It is a shame. I thought Serbians were cleaverer than this men.

P.S. By the way, Kosovo status is solved. Having said that, Serbia needs to look to the EU now, and shield itself from Russian influence.
