For a pro like Djukanovic this is major slippage. Everybody knows he and his brother are major shareholders in a certain bank in Montenegro. Surely he wouldn't be as so transparent as to suggest that the taxpayer should bail out his mismanagement of that bank and his mismanagement generally of the Montenegrin economy? Talk about a double blow.

Has he even thought about how many angry Montenegrins he will be dealing with this summer, when tourist numbers go down as the crisis starts to hit people in the pocket?

Yeah, nice strategy upping the prices again, urging private householders to invest in 'upgrading' properties to rent out to richer foreign tourists.

Poor timing though, no wonder Djukanovic is trying to get the election out of the way now.

Despite my great admiration for Milo's passion for Italian high fashion, he's disappointed me. Talking about restoring peoples trust into banks, bringing "money under mattresses" into bank accounts? Counting on people's simple reasoning that Milo won't let HIS bank (according some information more than 49% jointly owned by him and his brother)go belly up? Wasn't that the first bank in the Balkans to be bailed out by the government? Is he basically counting on people's collective amnesia? Names like Dafina and "gazda Jezda" forgotten? Eh, djeticu, djeticu!

What no banking customers in Montenegro. I guess most Montenegrins keep their money deposited in Serbia proper.

Could this be the reason that Montenegro detests a dual citizenship with Serbia?

Oh well, i guess Dukanovic will have to deposit some more of his cigarette money into his brothers banks.
